PCM code p0272 on 2006 Freestyle with 3.0 liter

This code is for cylinder #4 contribution/balance. In other words this cylinder isn't contributing as much when compared to the others. This could be caused by a faulty/dirty fuel injector or by a problem with the injector wiring.

Should there be a little wobble to the vibration damper at low rpm of ' 05 town & country?

no. there should not be any wobble to your harmonic balancer pulley! any wobble to the bottom pulley, means it's out of balance. either a belts too tight,or a harmonic balancer bolts loose. the other belts contribute to the wobble once it begins. check the tourque on the harmonic balancer bolt. it should be about 180 footlbs thank you for choosing

Looking at buying a 2001 STS 150,000 kms. any concerns that I might need to know, Thanks in advance

They are known for having a shimmy from @65MPH to @75MP. This can sometimes be fixed with a simple tire balancing. If that doesn't work, a "road force" balance can sometimes do the trick. Another known issue that is semi-related is the front engine mount. They go bad so frequently that they are considered a maintenance item, not a failure. Also, if the front engine mount is bad, it can contribute to the shimmy and replacing the mount can remedy the situation.

Further to Tinkertoys1's note...

Yes, the harmonic balancer is manufactured to only fit on one way.
Now, knowing this, the harmonic balancer has a timing mark set into the outside area of the balancer.

Cheers, Jay
