Follow this steps and fix it. God bless you

Rear-Projection TVs have a lamp, which picks up the picture and projects it on the TV screen. A burned-out or connected lamps are two of the most common problems for Rear-Projection TVs. First, you will want to confirm the bulb is still good. If the bulb is bad then then replace it immediately. Second consult your user manual and verify the lamp and lamp cover are installed properly. Most Rear-Projection TVs have warning light which notify you when there are lamp problems. Again consult the user's manual to see what each light means.

SOURCE: No picture and no sound after replace lamp for Mitsubishi WD-51525

I was having the same issue after a lamp replacement and the warranty tech said that it was the lamp power supply that went out. The part was on back order and look at the board neaqr the lamp and it had a blown capacitor. This would make since why the lamp would come on then shut off right away. She replaced the capacitor and works fine.

SOURCE: blinking timer Light (Green)

Thats a common problem caused by defective capacitors on the DM PWB which prevent the set from booting up. The V26 DLP DM kit at the following link will usually repair that issue and it comes with step by step instructions on how to do the repair. Look under the repair kit category.

Wd52525 when powed up set tries turn on. it tries for 2min then powers off with the red led solid at shut off

Most probable a lamp failure, part number according to encompassparts.com is 915P020010.

https://www.encompassparts.com/webwiz/wwiz.asp?wwizmstr=WEB.SEE&partnumber=6543337&smodel=WD52525

I have had issues also with the power supply having failed capacitors, tops of caps will bulge up rather than be flat. The most common failure is a popped lamp or defective lamp. Inspect the anode of the lamp, it may have fractured or is swollen at the base.

I buy lamps on line from a company called niosales NEIlamps and electronics.com

Mitsubishi wd52525 shows error code 37

error code 37 is either the dmd fan or the lamp fan. you can see the dmd fan with the cover off. you cannot set the lamp fan as it is under the light engine. I guess the easiest thing to do is get a lamp fan 299P282010 and a dmd fan 299P283010 and change them both.

Mits wd52525 bulb replacement

Good Day Cawhite;
You replaced lamp and still get flashing light.
1. TV's 'ballst may be bad.
2. If lamp comes on for 2-3 seconds, the problem will most likely be the caps in the power supply. (to see lamp turn on you have to take off back or front (inner panel).
Hope this was helpful.
Good luck, Big Irish.

Bad capacitors on the FMT there are 3 1000uf 16v capacitors that will cause that symptom. Your onscreen menu is unaffected right? If you need more info or a link to the service manual for thet model you can get the service manual at this link.

Mitsubishi WD52525 Brightness

Usually a bad lamp. If the lamp you replaced is new, then cleaning the internal mirrors (especially the small triangular one) and clean the projector assembly as well. The lamp ballast supply may be weak as well, but I seldom see this.
