There are known issues with the Linksys EasyLink Advisor (LELA). It is
a very buggy piece of software that ends up causing a conflict with
windows manager as indicated by your specific 0x error code. It is
supposed to take the hassle out of setting up your wireless network
using Linksys devices, but as you can see this isn't always the case.
The best thing to do, if you are technically inclined, is to uninstall
LELA and manually configure your wireless network or hire a teenaged
geek to do it for you. If you cannot do this, then try the following
(no guarantees):
1. Download the latest version of LELA at
http://update.linksys.com/lela/install/lela.exe and save it to your desktop.
2. If you're using XP then go to Start >> Control Panel, click on
"Add/Remove Programs", find "Liknsys EasyLink Advisor" and uninstall
it. If using Vista, go to Start >> Control Panel, click on
"Programs", click on "Programs and Features", find "Linksys EasyLink
Advisor" and uninstall it.
3. Reboot your computer.
4. Reinstall LELA by clicking on the LELA file you downloaded in step 1.
