I switched rooms w/ laptop and I plugged into a different outlet, the green lights are on but my screen is black?

i have replaced the lcd screen and inverter and the screen still will not come on. where is the backlight?

Wizremove the battery
try pressing the FN key and F4, F5, F7 (which ever your lap uses to switch between external lcd and internal screen)

Try removing the battery and power cord, plug in the power cord and try it. If it works put the battery in.

I work with Acers, sounds like the back light has gone, we get it oftern, also try your memory cards, just take them out and put them back in and re start, sometimes this will solve the problem
