Question about GPS
The clock will not hold the correct hour. Whenever the car is turned off the clock will reset to 12 or 1 o clock but the minutes will remain on the correct time. The nav system will not retain locations, phone numbers, previous settings. The destination is always set at Washington DC but the navigation system works great. I have had the dealer reload the firmware to the latest updates with no Improvement.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Have you tried a Master Reset? It may help, but it WILL ERASE ALL OF YOUR FAVORITES. To do a Master Reset, turn the unit off. Press and hold the bottom right of the screen, then press and release the power button. Keep pressing the screen until the unit asks if you are sure you want to reset. Follow the prompts.

You can contact Ferro Works and they will send you a new CD with maps on it. They were not very clear on how updated the Version is. I called them and had a commitment of a new CD to be sent to me within fifteen minutes of dialing.

I should have posted this sooner. I got hold of Garmin about my problem with the nuvi 360. They were very nice about it and had me send the unit to them and they sent me a new one. It was that simple. I never found out what the problem was but the explanation from the other guy makes sense...... that the internal battery wore out and had to be replaced. I am very happy with Garmin products and am glad everything worked out.

Unplug the coffeemaker for 20 minutes or longer - not a second less - in order to fully reset it. Then, when you plug it back in, turn the function dial to Clock again. Press and hold the HR button for a few seconds, and then set the hours. It should work now unless it got zapped, as you said.
