thank you very much.Apparently what you suggest is right.but i have problems with parts identification. For example,is the main access panel the one on the left or the one on the right? By the way my machine has the upper opening not front side opening.

Maybe that a sock or other piece of clothing get between the clothes tub and the outer tub and holds the drum. Check the outer tub port- open the washer's main access panel and remove the large diameter rubber hose that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub. Then, try to remove the clothing through the port. Good luck !

    Remove the right panel.
To access the outer tub, first bail and sponge out any water in the machine's tub. Then tip the washer over on its front, using a heavy blanket or pad to protect the washer's finish.
    Good luck

Change belt

hello remove the back pannel from yr washing machine, slacken the three mounting bolts on the motor, remove the old belt, put the new belt on to the motors pulley first , this is the shaft that comes out of the motor , then on to the large pulley mounted on to the back of your drum, feeding it on and turning the drum at the same time will make your job easy.when this is done press down on the motor to take up any slack and tighten the three mounting bolts back up.
hope this helps

Heard a thumping noise everytime we turned dryer on...lasted a week or so.....drying a blanket last night cycle stopped half way thru.....still getting hot, just not turning. Thinking this is some type of...

The thumping noise comes when the drum is rubbing against the body surface. This could be due to the suspenders/support which is holding the drier drum are not steadfast. May be one has given the way. To know exactly if it is the belt or the coupling with motor or the support for drum , you have to open the back cover which you can do it by removing the screws at the back and then inspecting the machine.

I have a white westing house dryer that squeaks i think it is the bearing at the back of the drum , because the belt and tensioner are fine how do i get to this bearing to oil .

if this dryer is made by electrolux or frigidaire....

you will need to get the dryer lid up and the front pannel off, I use a puddy knife at the front of the machine between the lid and the front pannel to depress the lid clips.

once you have the lid up and front pannel off you will then need to pull the rear of the drum up to relise it from the plastic holder and of coures you should have the belt already off. there sometimes is a yellow or orange plastic stop with one screw in it you will need to take off to pull the drum forward.

Am trying to replace the belt on a hotpoint aquarius wf240 washing machine. I have removed the 2 bolts which appear to hold the motor in place ( 1 bolt on each side). However the motor still will not

Hi. The motor is non adjustable on this washer. Tilt washer forward, get someone to hold it steady, and put belt round motor pulley first, then slip belt on drum pulley, and slowly turn drum by hand, feeding the belt on as you turn drum, be careful not to trap fingers, as it is very tight, this is normal, as the belt is a stretch type, this is the reason the motor is non adjustable. Please rate my advice. Thanks.

How do I fit a new drive belt for my Kenwood KVT1W Tumble Dryer

I am not familiar with this machine but most dryers have to have the front removed so that you can slip the belt over the drum. I would imagine they have the screws hidden pretty well. Perhaps their is a removable front panel. Some have a few screws on top then you raise the controlpanel exposing the front screws. Just a guess.

Spinning problem

I believe there is either a loose pulley or on the other side of the pulley spindle is a spoke assembly that holds the basket on is broken. If you see water leaking at the spindle you have bearing and seals that have faulted. Either one of the last two are expensive to fix, if you have a home warranty that blankets your appliances with a deductible I would recomend getting a tech out to fix those problems.

Washin Machine Spinning Problem

The main tub bearing is stuffed, thus the noise. The spindle becomes loose and the belt rides off. Bearings can be replaced.
Hope that helps.

Bearing noise

Hi there im the wash docotor. With your zanussis once you have removed the back half of the pannel and the top pannel. you will have to then detach the motor wire plug. then the heater wires and also the there is a sensoer on the side of the drum that also has a wiring connection. Also detactch the earth wires Then here come the tricky part. if you look on the top of the drum you have a rubber pipe connected to it comming from the washer draw detach that its easy. Then you have to dicconect the door seal from the front of the machine by the door (do not dissconect from the seal from the drum as you dont have to . Then disconnect the the drain hose. once this is all done you have to disconnect the legs, from the drum side. these are easily done as the pegs come out easily if you push in the pips from one side you can either knock them out with a hammer but it is best to pull em out with either some long bent nose pliers or gripping em in such a way with a monkey ranch Best way og getting the drum out is once you have done all that is to turn the machine onto its back and lifting the casing off leaving the drum on the floor.
