I've got a Simpson washing machine but when I filled it up with water there's water coming out from the bottom of the machine and the power just turn it self off

Check the water pump. If the pump shaft seals have worn out, it will leak water. I recently replaced a pump for a client with a similar problem but it wasn't shutting down from a short circuit caused by water. The pumps for Simpson machines are still in production and are quite easy to replace (find an appliance reconditioning shop and get a good used unit - it will save you some money). Also check the pump hoses for splits/leaks. Second place to look is the main agitator shaft seals for the wash bowl. This is a more involved repair and will require disassembly of the wash bowl/agitator to access it. There will also be a bearing on the shaft that should be replaced at the same time (washing powder is alkaline and will attack metal - once the seals protecting the bearings have failed, the bearing will rust out) Unfortunately the Simpson is a tough beast and isn't easy to tilt over to see where the water is coming from. You shouldn't need to turn the power on to find the leak. Just prop up one side of the machine with 2 blocks of wood etc and dump a few buckets of water into it and observe the underside with a torch (if it has been leaking substantially there should be tell-tale water stains in the vicinity of the leak)

When i turn on the washer it won't start& water keeps flowing into washing machine. does the water flows or not suppose to flow into the washing machine from the inlet valve?

water into a washing machine is controlled by a tube in the side of the bowl up to a pressure switch
as the water level rises in the bowl, pressure in the switch is built up until it overcomes the setting that you have made for a water level on the wash size selection switch
at this point it turns off the inlet solenoid switch and starts the wash cycle
If the water solenoid is burnt out then water will continue to come in and over flow the bowl but it should be washing as well
If the water is not stopping then check for a disconnected hose to the switch or ma hose full of water
failing all that get a washing machine mechanic in

WashMachine wont wash and wont stop filling

There is a rubber tube that goes from the outside of the outer plastic bowl up to the pressure switch in the top panel. It is on the left rear corner. It may have been pulled off the pressure switch. Look under on that corner and locate where it is attached to the plastic bowl. if that is OK then follow the tube up and check top connection.
Hope this will help you.

Water is leaking out the top it appers that the

Hi just read your posting. When you say the water is leaking out of the top ,does that mean it is leaking on the floor or leaking into the bowl even when the machine is off.If it is leaking into the bowl then it is a faulty water valve.Turn off the cold tap and leave for an hour and see if the water stops and if it does stop then the problem is the cold valve. If it doesn"t stop the leak turn the hot off and leave for an hour and see if that stops the leak.By memory I think your water valves are a double unit and to change one you must change both. Please reply with additional information about where the water is leaking to and I can help you rectify this fault,

Kleenmaid top-load washing m/c leaks water and then smokes!

It sounds like you are leaking from the bottom of the unit. If you are leaking at the top then you need to check the water inlet valves, and also the drain pump and all water hoses. This doesnt sound like a seal issue.

Leaking

The leaks in a washing machine could be coming from many different places in the washer.

The first place you need to check is behind the washer, check the two fill hoses and the water mixing valve.

The next thing to do is to remove the front panel, set the washer on the regular cycle and turn it on to start filling.

Use a drop light and check all the hoses under the washer as the washer is filling. Make sure to keep your hands away from any moving parts.

If the hoses are ok, check the pump for leaks. When the bearings in the pump wear out, that is when the pump will get noisy and that could cause your Maytag top load washing machine water leaks.

Another place that the washer could leak water from, is the stem & seal on the holding tank. When washer leaks water from the stem & seal, the water leaks down the center of the transmission.

When the stem & seal need to be replace, the tub bearing has to be replace at the same time. This is an expensive repair if you have to pay someone to do it. If you do it yourself it will cost you about $110
