SOURCE: update version error (80020321)
What version did you update to? most likely the lens is just dirty a little alcohol and qtip and the lens can be cleaned but be sure to be careful. You can also buy a cleaning disc as well. If you need further assistance let me know, also please take a moment to accept and rate my solution accordingly.

**** your dad's *****§!
if you hold the right trigger then power on your console you should get the recovery menu then select configuration then umd mode and try
eitherm33 no umd driver or sony np9660 -no umd driver if you are using custom firmware

its maybe cause you have no UMD and you"re trying to run an ISO file. to fix this, you can press select button and choose in the UMD mount mode: SONY NP6990. if this isnt working just put an iso in your UMD drive.

Tips for a great answer:
Nov 06, 2011 | Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
This error is appearing because there is a setting in the hidden configuration menu that is set to require a UMD game disc to be in the PSP when it attempts to load.
Turn off the PSP, then hold the R button down while turning on the system. You will be in the Recovery mode/Configuration menu. Choose configuration, then go to the 5th option, and press X once. This will switch it to "NO UMD". Then press X on "Back", then "Exit". Once you restart you should be able to load the ISOs, CSOs etc. without getting the 80020321 error.
Hope this helps you!
