Reset the machine by turning it off, completely unplugging it, all cables and cords. Leave it awhile (go and have a cuppa) now replug all and switch on.

I have followed all instruction to take apart machine but dont know which screw releases bobbin winder so that I can replace O rig

Most O-Ring on Bobbin Winders can be changed without dismantling them. If you can get your fingers on the O-Ring, just
(1) Pry off the old O-Ring, usually does not even need a tool. (2) Clean the O-Ring Pulley, (3) Oil the Bushing (4) Wipe of any excess oil off the Bobbin Winder, you do not want oil on the rubber O-Ring, oil will make it slip, get soft and spongy and disintegrate faster). (5) Pop-On the new O-Ring. All this is very easy if the Bobbin-Winder is External, but if it is under the lid (internal), it works about the same, I seldom have to take the Winder out to replace the O-Ring.
Alternative: (a) Pack Kleenex around the O-Ring, to keep and dust from getting into your machine, then (b) Gently scrape or sand the O-Ring a bit, to get any glaze off the surface; even a 3-M Green Scratchy Scrub pot-cleaner will do fine. (c) Clean with Alcohol and dry leaving no dust or paper parts (no finger prints either, fingers leave grease residue). [ if you can find "Rubber Rejuvenater" a pro product, it would be great, now that is not "Belt Dressing", which is a little too much for a O-Ring, since it may gum things up a bit too much (but it may work in some cases)] (d) Put it back like it was supposed to be. (e) Adjust the "Bobbin-Full" indicator so it kicks the Bobbin out of gear (stops winding the Bobbin) when it is just about full. This done, congratulations, you are in business again.
Sincerely,

Message on display: Replace the transfer roller.

The best thing to do is get a transfer roller ready, as it is due to fail soon anyway and just replace it when you get fed up seeing the message.

O/d off light is flashing

Needed transmission oil replace. If problem came back, replace the the turbine speed sensor (or transmission speed sensor, same thing). I fixed the O/D light flashing problem, but I did it in reverse order. Hopefully it is just dirty transmission oil that cause the problem and you can save yourself from replacing the turbine speed sensor.

Hullo, my laser jet Pinter does not pick paper. It continuously Shows "printing" on the display screen for 40 seconds but does not pick paper. Even the Printer Self test behaves in a similar way. Please...

Does it make a noise as if its doing anything? Most common thing is the pickup roller has worn out, they're really easy to replace, you can just search google or ebay for - pickup roller and whatever the model number of your printer is to find it

My 97 jetta is pouring oil out of i think the oil cooler. replace the whole thing or are there o rings?

there are o-rings that can be replaced, but you should remove the unit and inspect it for a breach in the tubes before you replace them to be certain that is the issue.

Drier Drum makes noise while rotating

Been there, done that. It's more than likely a bad roller. It might just be the bearings in the roller need oiled with some 3-in-1 oil or a light oil. you will have to dismantle the whole thing to get the drum off...but the peace and quiet will be worth the effort. I had one roller that just needed oiled, but the other one needed replaced. It costed about $9. and was only held on by a "C" clip. hope this helps.

Dyson DC4 Brush will not spin - have checked belt - this is ok

The bearings on your brush have gone bad. Buy a new roller brush and replace the belt as well, even if the old one seems o.k. Most people don't realize that roller brushes have bearings in the ends that allow them to turn quickly and smoothly. If you get hair wrapped around the roller brush, this will kill the bearings.

What is open heat errot

One of two things, both will require a fuser replacement.
Either the over hear thermostat has open, or and most likely the heating element built into the heat roller has failed. Normally the heating element burns out and displays that message, I have not found that roller assembly spared, and even if you try and swap one from a used fuser to new, they are really dificult to change because of the spring end contacts.
In simple terms, replace the fuser and you will fix the problem.

2006 hyundai sonata oil filter leak

I finally figured this out. I was putting the o-ring on incorrectly. I actually had two o-rings installed.
The o-ring should not be visible when it is tightened down. The plastic should be touching the metal housing. The o-ring sits inside the housing, right above the threads, but not at the top. Two pictures attached._388.jpg
