Question about Ulead CD & DVD PictureShow 3 Deluxe for PC
I changed computer. I installed two hard disks on my new computer. The second hard disk is my old one that I kept to have access to my old data. I reinstalled Ulead PictureShow 3 and I tried to open my old DPS data files. It tells me to relink missing files. I do and it tells me that all files are relinked but it still does not open.
Any clue what the problem might be?

Using a USB key is the worst thing you can do when you are video editing.
When you are editing video it is best to have the video clips on your main hard drive for the best Play back and rendering performance.
Video editing software doesn't actually change the original files, it just remembers what parts of the videos you want to use and then saves that memory in a project file, it does not save the video files. when you render the video it will make a new video file.
If you make any changes to the project files (Pictures and videos) in the project (e.g. name change, location, re-save) the video editing software will no longer be able to link the files back to the project and will then prompt you to re-link the files.
Also the performance of video editing software relies a lot on the data transfer speed. when you are using a USB drive you are cutting the performance down BIG time.
When you are using VideoStudio save all the files you are editing to the hard drive in one folder. when you are done and you want to transfer the project off, select File | Smart Package. What this will do is gather all of the project files and allow you to save to a USB drive and you can transfer the project to any other computer and open the project using VideoStudio without the relinking issue.

Do you have the ulead software installed? You mention that system crashed, did you reinstall ulead, the dwz format is only useful to the ulead software and so trying to use those files without ulead is impossible.
