How do I upload photos from my computer to my iphone 5c smartphone?

How to Transfer Photos: Windows Vista/7 Users If you have Windows 7 or Vista, there are two easy ways to transfer your photos directly to your desired folder or directory.

AutoPlay Method

iphone-3.png
When your iPhone device is connected, click on the Start Menu, and then Control Panel. Click Hardware and Sound. Select AutoPlay, scroll down to find where your iPhone device is listed, open the drop-down menu, and select "Ask me every time."
Step 1 - Connect your iPhone device
If you enabled the AutoPlay behavior using the method described above, you can skip this step, because your iPhone is already plugged in. If not, connect your device using the appropriate USB cable that your phone came with.
Step 2 - Import Pictures and Video
iphone-5.png
The AutoPlay prompt should appear with your device type listed at the top. Click the first link that says "Import Pictures and Video."
If for some reason the AutoPlay prompt did not appear, go to Start, then Computer, then right click on the icon for your iPhone device and select "Import pictures and video" from the context menu that appears.
Step 3 - Choose a directory, and import
Before you click Import, go to Import Settings, and select the "Import to" field to select the destination you want your photos to transfer to. By default, they will transfer to your My Pictures folder. You can also select the "Always erase from device after copying" option, though this is, as always, optional.
Click OK, then click Import, and your photos will be transferred to their designated directory.

Windows Explorer

If you don't want to mess with AutoPlay, you can find and transfer your photos manually using Windows Explorer.
Step 1 - Connect your iPhone device
Step 2 - Click Start, then Computer
This should take you to a Windows Explorer page that lists your hard disk drive(s), and devices with removable storage. If connected properly, your iPhone device will register as a device with removable storage, and you will see the icon for it listed below this header.
Step 3 - Double-click your device's logo in Windows Explorer
Double-clicking your device will open it up as a directory, full of folders and sub-folders that store all of your phone's content.
Step 4 - Open your camera folder
Your camera folder should be located in [Your iPhone Device]\Internal Storage\DCIM\100APPLE. This means once you're in your iPhone's directory, click on the Internal Storage folder, then the DCIM folder, then the 100APPLE folder.
Step 5 - Transfer your photos
You can import your device's photos by selecting the ones you want, or pressing Ctrl+A to select them all, and dragging them onto your desktop. Or, you can hit Ctrl+C to copy the photos, and then hit Ctrl+V in the folder you want to copy them into.

I have a Freecom 160Gb external drive which I've used to back up various files (mostly photos and iTunes) which were loaded on the pc with Windows Vista installed. The pc recently had a failure o

Windows-based PCs b> Plug your iPod into your computer to open iTunes; if it doesn't automatically open, open it manually. A window will pop up on your computer asking you if you want to sync the contents of your iPod with the contents of your iTunes library. Click cancel. In the iTunes source list, choose the iPod, and make sure that you have selected the Summary tab in iTunes' main window. Open up the My Computer icon from either your desktop or the Start menu, and select your iPod from the window. In the My Computer window, open up the Tool menu and click on Folder Options. This will open up another window. Choose the View tab, and find the heading for Hidden Files and Folders. Click on the button that says "Show Hidden Files and Folders," then click the "Apply" button at the bottom of the Window. Close the Folder Options window. Find the iPod's icon on the desktop and double-click it. This will open more folders in the iPod window. Find the folder called iPod_control and double-click it. Now you will have a number of folders to choose from. Locate the music folder, and drag it to the main desktop so that it's copied to your computer. When the Music folder is on the desktop, right-click on it. From the window that appears, choose "Properties." In the Attributes area of the General tab, uncheck the Hidden option, and then click "Apply." A window will appear that will ask you to confirm the attribute changes. Make sure the box next to the Apply Changes to this Folder, Subfolders, and Files option is checked, and then click OK. Drag the folder and its contents into the iTunes library.

I want to put my photos on a sd chip from my computer, can i do all of them at once, not one at a time. i have windows vista. Thanks

You can do them in groups but check that you are not exeeding the size of the SD.
Using Windows Explorer (click on VIEW and then DETAILS):

Method 1 - highlight the folder where the photos are stored in the computer. To check its size, right click on the folder and then click on properties. It should tell you its size. If it exeeds the capacity of the SD then you cannot use this method. You will have to break the folder down.
However if it will fit into the SD the right clik on the folder, click on copy. Locate where the SD is, click on its icon. Ensure the icon is highlighted, righ click, click on paste.
The complete folder will be copied into the SD in a few minutes.

Method 2 - open the folder where the photos are. Click on the first picture. Press and hold down on the CTRL key (do not release the CRTL key) , click on the next picture you want to copy, continue doing this for about four or five photos. You should have a highlighted area of photographs. right click on the highlighted area: a window will display the total size of your selection. Ensure that this is not larger than the size of your SD card. If it is not you can continue adding more photos by clicking on their icons while holding down the control key.
If the total size is larger than the size of your SD Card you can remove pictures by clicking on the highlighted icon (while holding down the CTRL key).
Once you are satisfied with your selection, RIGHT click on the highlighted area, then click on COPY. Release the CRTL Key. Locate where the SD is, click on its icon. Ensure the icon is highlighted, right click, click on paste.
Your selection of photos will be copied into the SD in a few minutes.

This sounds harder than what it really is. With a little practice it will become second nature.
These methods are basic COPY and PASTE techniques. Once you are comfortable with the techniques you may want to delete the files and folders from your computer by selecting them and deleting them once you have copied them to your SD card.
Additionally, you can expedite this by using CUT instead of COPY in the same methods above.
Hope this helps.

Can't scan with my HP officejet 4255 all-in-one

Hi
Hope you doing well this year and i am sure that thing will go good as well

the problem you mentioned : When you press the Scan button on the product control panel, nothing happens. A scan does not start.

This issue usually occurs because you do not have the full feature driver installed for the product. Button functions on the product control panel require a full feature software and driver installation for Windows Vista.

Follow these steps to download and install the full feature software from the HP Web site.

1) Turn the product on.
2) Disconnect any USB cable from both the product and the computer.
3) Open a new window to browse to the Select Software and Drivers page:
Click on the Following Link to get the Updated drivers for all OS

DRIVERS HP Officejet 4255

4) Click / select the Operating system
5) Click the Full Feature Software and Drivers option.

6) Click Download only . This option allows you to install the software at any time after the download completes.
7) Click Save , and then browse to the location on your computer where you want to save the file.
8) Click Save . The software downloads to your computer.
Tip: Make a note of the place that you saved the file, in case you want to install it at a later time.
9) When the download is complete and you are ready to install the files, click Open Folder , and then click the downloaded file. The file name ends in .exe .
10) You can accept the default location to save the files. Click Next , and then wait while the installer extracts the files to prepare for installation.
11) When the Install Wizard starts, follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.

When I click on a photo in Iphoto a ''!'' shows up with a black backgournd. Where is my photo located? Can I recover the photo?

In your Pictures folder there should be an icon called iPhoto Library. If you then hold down Control while selecting the icon with your mouse, you should get a menu with the item Show Package Contents. A window should open in which the two folders Modified and Originals, should appear (among a number of other items). In Originals, your photos are grouped by year. If you've set up the date on your camera properly, you should be able to find your photo from there.

How do you delete photos?

If you go into Windows Media Player, you have to change the Library option from Music to Photos and THEN go into the Sync tab - should now display photos instead of music.

Alternatively, you can double-click My Computer, double-click the icon of the Sansa, and find the images or picture folder - you may have to change your usb mode to msc in order to view this folder (don't forget to change it back later, or not all of your files will show up when you want them to). ONLY delete image files - if you delete system files, your mp3 player will become unusable.

Or, you can follow the method reccomended by your manual - the full user's manual is available from Sanidsk's website:
Delete Photos and Video
The photos are stored in 2 locations on your Sansa…My Album and
Thumbnails. The instructions below for deleting photos and video from your
player were created using Windows XP with Windows Media Player 11.
To delete photos from your Sansa, please execute the following steps:
1) Connect your Sansa e200 to your computer
2) Select Open device to view files using Windows Explorer on initial
connection
3) Click the drive containing your photos
4) Click on the photo folder.
5) Highlight and delete the photos stored in My Computer\Sansa
e200\...\Photo\My Album
and My Computer\Sansa
e200\...\Photo\thumbnail\My Album
.
