SOURCE: John Deere X324 drains the battery

might have a short in your seloniod switch if you unhook pos from it and there is spark hooking up its probably the short

Igniter module is under the dash held on with one ten millimeter bolt,or dealership has replaced 8 in the last 2 weeks.It is solid black and is above the battery any it has a grey plug in it.

first i would check the belt tension also check the belt for oil is so look for the cause of the leak the repair the leak and replace the belt

check for spark when it dies you could have a bad coil

if your asking how to replace the hydrostatic transmission cooling fan blades , most ive ever seen have a small bolt in center of them with a washer , you remove this and it slips up and off the shaft (with tools help) new one has star or key slot in it and needs to go back on same way

Hi, remove the battery and battery carrier and clean all grass and debris from the hydrostatic drive, cooling fins and fan. I'm not sure what transmission it runs but the solution applies to all. Hope this helps, regards Phil.

Hi, the most likely cause is the transmission over heating. Remove the battery and the cradle underneath the battery. Here you should be able to access the transmission. Clean all grass and debris from the cooling fins and check the cooling fan for damage. Hope this helps. Regards Phil.
