When i lock the disc in with the wrench as tight as i can the disc still seems to spin freely, its a thin disc for metal that came with is this meant to happen and will it happen with all discs or just the...

Well, I would make sure your arbor flanges are installed correctly. If you arent sure, I would make sure that the one with the chamfer goes on first, with the chamfer facing the tool (see picture 1). Put your disc on, and then install the locking flange (picture 2). If the disc isnt tight, flip the locking flange upside down and see if it gets tight. It is entirely possible that the disc is too thin, or the ID of the disc is too large. Let me know how this goes.

Every time i try and put call of duty on the xbox it wont load it keeps saying loading dvd but its not a dvd its a game it was working fine yesterday

The same exact thing has happened to me with Call of Duty. It is extremely frustrating. If the Xbox is working with other games and not Call of Duty, then it means that the call of duty disc is ruined. You simply have to buy a new one. Before buying a new one, however try cleaning the disc with disc cleaner, because that has worked before. Good luck, and any further questions let me know so i can help you resolve this issue.

Game not working on x box 360 did work once but now it cannot read the disc, other games work well.the game is "call of duty world at war"

call of duty has a history of being a console killer, if your xbox 360 version is older, your console engine might not be able to keep up with this kind of game, I had an xbox 360 b4 and same thing happened it plays on other games but wont play with call of duty. It also happened to my ps3, what I did was I updated my firmware version for both console. Now both consoles works with call of duty. Give it a try. Thanks

Call of duty has stopped working on my playstation

fixed the problem after going on the Activision site. Advice is to check the disc and if ok then to delete the game from the playstation and then replace the disc. Kept saved games too. Go to Activision site for instructions. Basher

My playstation keeps freezing up. it mainly happens after a match in call of duty modern warfare 2, when the scorebord pops up.

either your disc is damaged or your connection cannot support itself when leaving the match host. try adjusting connection settings or trying a different MW2 disc

Call of duty world at war is not working on my xbox 360

Depending on when (and in what country) you bought your Xbox 360, you may just have a busted hard drive. Earlier generations are particularly difficult which is why Microsoft extended the "hardware failure" portion of the warranty.

If this is happening to multiple games you should be sure you are cleaning the discs very well with a fine linen cloth or something that will not scratch it. Remove all the debris from the disc and don't leave them in the sun or near sources of heat. Also you may want to get a can of air and spray out any dust that may be collecting inside the tray/lens inside the xbox.

If this is only happening to this one game, perhaps you have a corrupt file on the hard drive. Try deleting anything related to Call of Duty World at War from the memory and then putting the disc in.

Xbox 360 disc damage

Thats what happened to my friends. Well people say to have the console in a specific position. But because the disk is damaged there and two possible reasons. 1. You have your consel is the wrong position 2. You must have moved it. or 3. Get a new one. Now if you have resolved the problem and it happens again, rent the same game/movie, look at the rent # on it, write it on the disk that is scratched, now put the disk you wrote on in the case and send it back with all the scatches on it. They can't do anything about it.

Call of duty 4

I have heard that if your console is laying flat that it will scratch your discs. hasn't happened to me but maybe you should try standing it up to avoid further discs from being scratched. To fix your call of duty 4 disc you should buy whats called a game doctor if you haven't heard of it you put your disc in it and it re-buffers your dis like it was new. if that fails the only thing i can think of would be to buy a whole new game :/
