SOURCE: they keep telling me this

The simplest solution is to type in the password into an empty area like your browser addressbar, check its a 100% correct and then cut and paste it into MySpace... If your cutting and pasting it from an email from MySpace, remember this doesnt always work as it sometimes adds extra spaces, so if you do this again cut and paste it into something, anywhere you like even word or notepad, make sure there are no extra spaces and then copy it again and paste it into MySpace :)

HI,

Once you click on Forgot Password you will not get your old pass back. You will only get another new pass generated by the facebook support.

So you will have to use that new generated pass. After you login with that new generated pass you can then change your pass back to the old one by going into the settings or profile option.

Cannot connect to network keep being told password is incorrect. have tried changing password but still cannot connect. would like some advice please

First tip, is never change anything if you haven't changed anything previously since the problem happened between success and failure. In all cases where you successfully log in and have auto log in set up, and the server says your password is wrong, it is giving you a standard error message about your password, because it doesn't understand the reason why. Usually the fault will clear itself given 15 minutes to an hour.

OK, clear your internet history and in particular Cookies, reboot everything that connects you to the internet including router. Put in the log on account name and the password. Remember that passwords are CaSE SenSItIVe, the capital letters and lower case letters must be in the right place.

If that doesn't work, you try one more password reset, and if that doesn't work, contact the outfit you are trying to connect to.

What is a case sensitive password

Case sensitive refers to uppercase or lowercase. So whichever way to created your password is the exact way you must enter it to log on.

So, if your password is Anonymous1234, you must always use a capitol A when entering your password.

This for instance would not work: anonymous1234

Log in facebook

When Facebook was founded on February 4, 2004, it defined its mission as "Giving people the power to share and make the world more open and connected."
With the widespread success of this social networking website today more than 500 million regular users as of April 2011 it may meet that goal for many.
When a Facebook user can no longer access an account, it can be frustrating, but there is typically a reasonable explanation.
Cookies/Cache
Facebook suggests that any user who can't access their account should clear cookies and cache on their computer as a first step.
This will help remove old and unneeded files from your computer, and will sometimes help your computer to run faster, as well as allowing access to Facebook again.
Once cookies and cache have been cleared, you should type "m.facebook.com" into the address bar on your computer.
Avoid using any old bookmarks or links to visit Facebook for this first visit after clearing the cookies and cache.
Password Incorrect
If you attempt to log into your Facebook account with an incorrect password, you will be unable to access your account.
Even if you have the correct email address, that is only half of the log-in equation, and the correct password is absolutely necessary to log into the site.
If you may have entered the wrong password, enter it again, taking care to get each character correct.
Passwords are case sensitive, so all capital and lowercase letters and any symbols must be entered correctly.

If you have forgotten your password, you will need to click the "Forgot Your Password" link to recover your account and create a new password.
Account Closed
Facebook reserves the right to close accounts that they have determined are in violation of their terms of service.
If Facebook found that your account contained inappropriate content, did not represent a real person, or violated Facebook rules in some way, the account may be closed, leaving you unable to access it.
If your account was closed for one of these reasons, your login will fail and you will be provided with a link to Facebook's "Confirm Your Identity" page, where you can read about typical reasons for account closures.
Email Login Incorrect
If you have entered the incorrect email address, you will be unable to log into your Facebook account.
The email address that you use to log into Facebook is case sensitive, just as your email address is. If you fail to capitalize a letter or forget to insert an underscore that is part of the email address, login will fail.
If you cannot access your Facebook account due to an incorrect email address, double checking the address for correctness prior to logging in again will resolve the issue.
Compromised Account
If account information such as your email address or password is stolen, your account may be compromised.
If, for example, your account information is stolen, the person in possession of your log-in information can access your account and change the password so that you will no longer be able to get to your account.
If you think this may have happened, you must access the "Compromised Account" page on Facebook and follow steps to prove your identity and secure your account.

How do i change my password?

How do I change my password? Last Updated: February 26, 2010 Text Size: A A A Save to My Help Save this article to My Help for easy reference. You can visit the article at any time from any computer.
Save Cancel Replace an article You have reached the maximum number of saved articles. Your oldest saved article will be replaced with the new one.
Replace Cancel You fill out a form asking you to enter your old and new password.
To make it easier to remember passwords, it is common for people to use the same or similar passwords on each system, such as their birthday or the name of their pet or relative. Simple passwords make it easier for others to guess them. Some people use automated programs that run through common words to guess passwords. To better protect your account, make sure that your password is easy for you to remember but impossible for others to guess.
Never use a password you have used in the past, and do not share your password with anyone. Your new password must be a minimum of six characters and a maximum of 31 characters. We recommend that you use a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters and numbers. The password box is case-sensitive, that is, it can tell the difference between CASE and case, for example, and we recommend that you create your new password to take advantage of that case sensitivity.
To make it more difficult for someone to guess your password or prevent them from guessing it, we recommend that you create strong passwords. Doing so helps keep your accounts secure and safe from prying eyes.
For additional information about secure passwords, visit the Yahoo! Security Center.
Here’s how to change your password:
