Kenmore front loader goes off balance
My Kenmore (417.40042990) goes off balance on spin cycle but on high spin it is bouncing just about hitting the sides and front to back. I have replaced the two top springs and the two shock absorbers on the bottom.While this is going on i can hear a thumping but can not find out where it is coming from.The machine is 7 years old and has a belt from the motor to the tumbler.I have tried checking for play from the bearing on the big pulley and no play. Also,if we do not use the machine for a couple of days it gets a mold smell even if we leave the door open. Any advice? Thanks Bob email bersie50@yahoo.com

- brand new and it bounces all over the place...it is ballanced perfectcould there be something wrong with it........brand new...it bounces on most load on the spin....unless i have a very even load of socks or something.....thank you

Replace the belt. A loose or a tense belt could be the reason for those noises.
Regarding the mold smell, make a boil wash (with no clothes and detergents) put in the powder's drawer a cup of bicarbonate of soda.
It should clean the machine and remove out the bad smell.

My front load kenmore washer tub bounces really hard before going into a full spin. can anyone tell me what is wrong with this. thank you
