Programming procedure is very difficult to type in all here by this window. If you wish to get more details, check the sites linked here. It has setup code list and setup procedure to many popular brand remote controls. http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up previous posts, either by its left side bar, or view it in Mosaic / Timeslide option.

SOURCE: INSTRUCTIONS NEEDED FOR THE SHARPER IMAGE - JUMBO UNIVERSAL REMOTE
Hello kls1996... programming your remote is rather easy. The easiest way (thanks to The Sharper Image Jumbo Remote being a LEARNING SMART remote) is to do the following:
1 - Point the head of your Sharper Image remote at the head of your Sanyo TV remote (nose to nose so the clear bulbs on each remote are facing each other).
2 - Press the "TV" button on your Sharper Image remote (located in the upper left-hand corner).
3 - Hold the "LEARN" button on your Sharper Image remote (located in the left edge under the volume buttons) until the red light flashes.
4 - Press the key on your Sharper Image remote (e.g. Volume Up or +VOL)... the red light will go solid (indicating that it is waiting for a signal from the other (in your case Sanyo) remote.
5 - Press the key on your other remote (in your case the Sanyo remote) that you want programmed in your new Sharper Image remote... the red light will flash rapidly again.
6 - Repeat step #4 until you have programmed each key.
7 - When done... press the "LEARN" key on your Sharper Image remote. Your Sharper Image remote should be programmed to operate your device (in this case, your Sanyo TV).
NOTE: You can program other devices such as your VCR, DVD, VHS, SAT, CABLE, etc. and not just one device.

SOURCE: I need to program ge universal remote jc024 for
I also lost the manual for my GE JC024 Universal Remote. I remembered though that you just hold in the button for the device you want to program and the "SETUP" button at the same time for about 5 seconds until the red light on the remote flashes and stays lit. then let go of the buttons. Then you basically just press and let go of the on/off button, pausing for a second or two in between presses until your device turns off. then you have to press the "ENTER" button and it'll store the code for that device. This method just cycles thru all of the possible codes for that device. sometimes you get the wrong code and the remote wont completely work. like hitting the volume button makes the tv mute for example. just repeat the steps until the device turns off again and eventually you should be able to get it. hope this helps.
