Usually when those pumps start doing that the impeller needs to be cleaned. Just remove the impeller housing with a phillips screwdriver and carefully pull out the impeller. I use an aquarium tubing brush to clean the impeller. A bottle brush will work too. Be very careful when you re- insert the impeller back into the housing, as the strong magnetic force will slam it back in if you aren't holding on to it with a good grip. Try to avoid that.
It's also possible that the impeller is going bad and needs replaced (probably about $40 for that pump). Sometimes the bushings wear out too.
Check inside the motor housing for scoring, not good. The only cure for scoring is to replace the pump.
