Question about Microsoft Xbox Console

Xbox controller thanks djyar. i have tried wired and wireless controllers. i even tried another xbox, one that worked on another tv, but not on this one. it has to be something in the connection or wiring. i also tried another game, it also didn't work correctly. just spun in circles. guess i'll take it in somewhere and see what's up with it. could it be my electrical outlet? i checked it and it reads ok. any other suggestions??

How do i reactivate the wireless controller to my xbox 360

How to Configure an Xbox Controller"> configure-xbox-controller-800x800.jpg Configure you Xbox controller.

The Xbox 360 utilizes two types of controllers: wired and wireless. Like most operations on a video game console, configuring a controller requires little effort. You can either plug the controller into a port on the Xbox 360, or sync a wireless controller using the console's built-in controls.
Difficulty:Easy Instructions

  1. Wired
    • 1 Connect the controller's cable to the in-line release cord. This cord prevents you from accidentally pulling the Xbox 360 along with your controller during game play.
    • 2 Insert the in-line release cord's USB plug into the USB port on the front of the console.
    • 3 Turn on the console to activate the controller automatically.
    • 1 Insert batteries in your wireless controller, if necessary.
    • 2 Hold down the "Guide" button on the controller.
    • 3 Push the Xbox 360's "Connect" button, located on the front of the console.
    • 4 Push the controller's "Connect" button to sync it with the Xbox 360.

Console is not syncing with controller even when it is plugged in

are you using a play and charge kit, if so just try taking battery pack out and using normall batterys, as the play and charge kit does not carry any controler info to the xbox only voltage,
so it still acts as a wireless pad even when plugged in,
so what im saying is it could be a rubbish signal due to not having enough power charge,
if this does not fix it and you have tried the proper syncing process involving bothe the sync button on the xobx and the one on the controler its probably a broken controller, you should borrow one off a friend to see if that will connect to make sure not a faulty xbox

I have a flat screen tv and a wii linked to it. i got a preowned xbox 360 today and i just set it up. I try turning the controllers on and it keeps flashing four green lights. I put in brand new...

You need to sync the xbox with the wireless controls. Turn on XBOX , there is a small button next to where the memory card goes in . Press the button - green lights will circle on the xbox, while its doing that, press + hold the tiny button on top of the controller . This will sync the control to the right XBOX

My Xbox 360 wont sync any of my wireless controllers and the powe

if your wireless controllers wont sync to your xbox, it could be one of 2 things.

assuming your batteries are fully charged, and that you're using a certified xbox controller, it could be that the controller itself. it is really rare that the wireless receiver inside the xbox itself, goes out, but soemtimes, it happens.

the easiest thing or you to do would be to either pick up an after market controller, or another certified controller, and see if they'll work. if you try other controllers, and they STILL dont work, verify that your system settings are correct, or are set to default, and make sure that your xbox isnt sitting close to something that could be interfering with the a wireless router for example

if this doesnt work, then it's a problem with the xbox, and you should send it back to the service repair center.

Xbox 360 controller won't connect to console

If your controller is not assigned a position, and pressing the sync buttons on both the console and the controller don't fix it (i.e. they both spin for a bit, but then the console's lights turn off and the controller's return to a pulsing pattern), the the problem is actually likely to be your TV, believe it or not. The issue is HDMI -- it's a secure connection between the Xbox 360 and the TV, and if there's an issue with that connection, the Xbox won't even be able to turn on since it'll be unaware of the TV's resolution, color capabilities, etc. Try turning off the TV and then turning off the Xbox. Keep the TV off and turn the Xbox console back on. You'll see the same behavior; but now turn the TV back on and you should see the controller get assigned a position. As soon as the Xbox is aware of what it's connected to via HDMI, things start to work again.

Sounds like you went to a lot of trouble to play this game. Since you used all different hardware, I would think it would be one of two things. 1) Were the controllers you used official or off-brand? Some off-brand controllers don't work 100% with all games. 2) Check the surface of the disk for scratches or warping. Also, on the off chance that the controller you were using are wireless, try a wired controller as some wireless can be easily goofed with due to radio interference. On a side note, I am guessing you meant European Assault, if you are playing the European version of the game, then that would cause you even more problems.
