Make this test and fix it. God bless you

  • Use your remote control. The first step is to inspect the batteries of the remote control and see if they are functioning. If its power button starts to blink several times once you turned it on, then the batteries need to be replaced. See to it that your remote control is used within about 20 feet from the television. Make sure also that nothing blocks the space between the remote control and the receiver.
  • Check the fan. Once the television is turned off, it is just normal for its fan to become louder. A projection TV actually depends on its lamp, which requires cooling so that it will not prematurely burn out. If the room where your TV is placed is very hot, the fan would also continue to run.
Replace projection lamp. To properly do this, make sure that the lamp's bulb has cooled down and the TV is unplugged. Carefully remove the cover of the lamp's compartment using your screwdriver (Phillips-head). Unscrew the sealed part of the lamp that can be found at the television's rear part. Take away the old lamp cartridge and then insert a new one. Seal the lamp with screws, replace its cover and then screw tightly.
  • Reset component settings. Usually, the problems you encounter with a projection TV may be resolved through the resetting to its factory settings. If you experience inaccuracies in the color, reset the television's PerfectTint/PerfectColor capabilities. Simply press the Menu tab and then highlight "Perfect Color" using your right key arrow. After this, press "Enter" and then "Reset" in order to reset to factory settings. If you have audio / video problems (VCR or DVD player), simply press "Menu" and highlight the "Reset" option.
Reset television controls. In case you cannot fix your TV via its component settings, there are other ways of resetting. Just select "Menu", key in "1, 2, 3", and then press "Enter." In doing this, the TV's manufacturer's specifications will all be restored. If your TV's power system does not function, you should perform a complete system reset. You can do this by clicking on Reset System button located at the TV's control panel. Your television will be turned off and then a green light (LED) will quickly flash for approximately one minute. Once the light has stopped flashing, your TV should immediately turn on.

Look at the back of the TV when it is on to see if the lamp is lighting. You should be able to see the lamp shining from the back of the TV if it is on. If you do not see any light, the lamp is not lighting which will definitely cause the TV to shutdown. A defective lamp is a common issue. Besides the lamp, this a common issue with defective capacitors in the power supply. This can be confirmed by visual inspection of the power supply with the back off of the TV. You can find lamps or a replacement power supply at the supplier below.

SOURCE: My RCA big screen plays for about half a movie and

These units are famous for loose connections around the high voltage transformer and also bad capacitors in the power supply. The deflection PCB has to be removed to fix this problem. You probably would need to have a repair shop check it out for you. Thanks

Sounds like its audio output section circuit has the fault. Contact any service technician to troubleshoot. Check the speaker/s first. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience.

Mitsubishi WD-73638 no picture and shuts off randomly

I would think that the item to check would be the power supply. You will have to take the TV apart, get the board part number and see if you can find a replacement for it. I would recommend putting a meter to it to verify it is the board that is bad.

Prima Cineplus 50" Plasma PH-50R18C will not turn on

The ambient temperature might be high. Check whether the foolinf fans are working or not. If not, check out the reason for it. The TV must be placed at least 6cm away from wall, and should have sufficant ventilaation.

Green tint on tv and picture randomly cuts out

Sounds like a Sony, if it uses a lamp the green cast is most likely the optical light engine in the set---major part.

RCA L32WD12 32in. HGTV LCD Television

I had the same problem happen this afternoon, so I took it apart, and the source of the problem is the key controller panel (behind the buttons). It's held in place by 2 screws, if you take the case apart, which is literally only 15 or 20 screws, and then loosen the 2 screws holding the key controller panel on, and then use a small screwdriver to space it out from the button caps. Tighten the screws, and put it back together. Just be careful not to let it go too far to the other side, or you'll have a problem with the menu going on and off at random, which is just as annoying.
