Make this test and fix it. God bless you
Belt

Dryers have a drive belt that turns the clothes drum. If the belt breaks, the drum stops rotating. Then you need to replace the belt , and often the idler pulley, because the pulley tends to wear out at the same time. . If you hear the motor running but it does not tumble it is most likely the belt.

Motor

If the dryer motor only hums when you press the Start button, the motor may be burned out.

Remove the belt.

Check for obstructions in the blower fan housing.

Manually rotate the shaft of the motor. If the motor is very stiff, or impossible to rotate manually, and the blower fan housing is clear, you need to replace the motor

If the motor rotates freely, run the motor momentarily with the belt removed and the blower in place. If the motor runs fine with the belt removed, there may be a problem with the idler pulley or the clothes drum. Try to rotate the drum by hand. If it is very difficult to move, correct any problem with the rollers or pulley, and then reassemble the dryer and try it again.

If the motor hums but doesn't rotate on its own even with the belt removed--yet you can turn it freely by hand--you usually need to replace the motor or the motor start capacitor. Check our videos on testing a motor and capacitor.

Door switch

Your dryer can't operate at all if the door switch is defective. It's inside the dryer main housing near the door frame. Sometimes you need to raise or open the top or front of the dryer to reach the switch. Check for continuity. When Door is open no continuity when closed you should have a reading. If it's defective, you need to replace it.

Matthias Hofmann suggested the X1=32.768KHZ crystal defective. How do I test this?

The purpose of a crystal is to regulate an oscillator circuit to the frequency of the crystal. It can also be used to filter a particular frequency from a mixed signal.

In an oscillator circuit, if the crystal is defective, the oscillator might still be working in an unregulated way or it might not work at all. If an oscillator circuit does not work it is just as likely to be one or more of the other components in the circuit that are faulty or a lack of supply current.

While there are probably modern solutions to the testing of a crystal-controlled oscillator or clock circuit, the original method would be to investigate the current supply to the circuit and check for function using an oscilloscope or a frequency counter. If the circuit seems ok but not oscillating the cystal is probably the easiest component to remove for testing, though it is probably easier and cheaper to simply replace it.
There are dedicated crystal testers available or it can be fitted to a known good oscillator circuit and checked as above. If the crystal is found to be ok (which is likely) the other components must be investigated/tested/replaced, which would be a highly specialised task and likely to be expensive.

Unless your motherboard is something really special and very expensive without many "miles on the clock" it is more practical, economic and convenient to consider the motherboard as a throw-away unit.

Brought a new cutting bar but would not cut

Most, likely, your oscillator is broken. It is the plastic piece that transfers the rotary motion of the motor to a 'back and forth' motion

Where to lubricate fan

What type of fan do you have? If it is a desk or stand fan, you need to add oil to the front bushing/armature (accessible by taking off the fan blade) and to the rear bushing. To reach the rear bushing, you need to take the motor cover off - pull the oscillator push-pull lever up until it disengages, then using a phillips screw driver, unscrew the retaining screw of the motor cover. When the cover is out, you need to unscrew 3 retaining screws on the oscillator assembly at the back of the motor. When the oscillator mechanism is out, you will see the motor armature at the back of the motor (has a threaded end). Add a little oil to the bushing of the armature. Then reassemble (reverse order - secure the oscillator assembly with 3 screws, install the motor cover and screw the back, insert the push-pull lever and you're done). Hope this may help.

Heat does not come out of defroster

An oscillator? :vibration, motion like a pendulum, pulsation, fluctuation, rotation...yeah, I can imagine Nissan calling a door that swings back and forth to direct air, an oscillator. Hope someone is not pulling your leg, though, or we've both been suckered ! Don't know what to tell you, except to find your nearest oscillator outlet supplier. In the meantime, check the controls to the various doors on the heater case. Are they vacuum controlled, cable controls, or electrical motor controlled? Usually all of one type. You may be able to see the offending part, a disconnected hose or cable, or the stem of an inner door that has broken or not moving the door. The oscillator might be hidden deep in the bowels there-be careful. Good luck, norman.

Possible that the microprocessor is not working , possible that the fault rotates around the processor, could be the crystal oscillator.
If so the panel or the functions will not work and a confirmed status of the processor must be determined.

Mitsubishi 72" Model VS70705. Picture

The picture rolling up and down is caused by the vertical oscillator running off frequency. Usually caused by a Capicator that has burnt out and started leaking and causing the frequency to be off. Static sounds like weak signal, however the vertical oscillator could be corrupting the picture. If you are not a trained TV Technician don't try to fix it yourself. There's a lot of junk back there and knowing where the vertical oscillator section is located and which capacitor is bad will require a tech manual or a 'Sam's Photofacts' to hunt it down. dhgill1949

Working principle of super heterodying receiver

you can find it easy with google, but here is how it works...the incomeing rf signal is mixed with a signal of another frequency from the local oscillator and then passes through a non linear device (semiconductor). after passing through the nonlinear device the output will contain the original frequency, the local oscillator frequency, and frequencies equal to those added together and subtracted from each other, these signals are then passed through filters to obtain only one which will be either the rf frequency plus the local oscillator frequency or the rf frequency minus the local oscillator frequency. This new frequency is then coupled to the intermediate frequency amplifier stages where most of the amplification takes place before the audio is removed and passed to the audio stages.
