Yes the have power cord. see this steps and fix it.
God bless you
1. No power to the dishwasher
Make sure there's power getting to the dishwasher. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the dishwasher (inside the junction box, behind the bottom kick panel), if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced.

2. Door switch
Replace if defective.

3. Timer or Control Electronic
Replace if defective (note: uncommon problem).

4. Selector switch
Replace if defective (note: uncommon problem).

Thermal Fuse If the dishwasher won't start the thermal fuse might have blown. The thermal fuse helps to prevent damage to the dishwasher by turning off power so that it doesn't overheat. Once blown, the thermal fuse will have to be replaced for the dishwasher to work.

Door Switch The door switch, or switches, are sometimes called interlock switches. The door switch prevents the dishwasher from running while the door is open. If the dishwasher won't start, the switch or switches might be defective. To access the door switches, remove the control panel or inside door panel - depending on the model. They can be tested for continuity.

Main Control Board The main control board provides power to nearly every component of the dishwasher. If the dishwasher won't start the main control board might be defective. YOU should first check for more common parts. Many times control boards are replaced unnecessarily because the problem was not diagnosed properly.

Touchpad and Control Panel If the touchpad is defective, the control board might not get the signal for the selections made. If the dishwasher won't start and the display doesn't seem to change properly when the buttons are pressed, the touchpad might need to be replaced. On some models the touchpad and control panel are sold together and will need to be replaced at the same time.

Touchpad If the touchpad is defective, the control board might not get the signal for the selections made. If the dishwasher won't start and the display doesn't seem to change properly when the buttons are pressed, the touchpad might need to be replaced.

Timer The timer allows power to flow to the proper parts at the proper times. If the dishwasher won't start, the timer might be defective. Keep in mind that timers are often misdiagnosed as the cause of a problem. Check other components first before replacing the timer.

No power lg dishwasher

A large dishwasher should have a dedicated circuit breaker in the circuit breaker panel, check to see if the breaker is on, tripped, or off, it should be on. If it is on, remove the panel cover and check for power coming out of the circuit breaker, if there is power coming out of the circuit breaker, check for power at the dish washer. Checking for power at the dishwasher may involve pulling the connector cord if any and check the power outlet for power, if there is no power outlet and the dishwasher is hard wired into an electric box, the electric box needs to be opened and the wires need to be tested for power, involving removing the wire splice nuts or wire nuts. Once the power is verified to the dishwasher and the washer is still with no power, a fuse should be sought inside the dishwasher control panel or that the power feed wires are properly spliced. A voltage testor is needed to test for power. electric shock hazard on live wires, please be carefull or call out a electrician or handyman if power testing skill is questionable.

Does the wiring come up through the door at the bottom to the control panel? Check for a broken wire

Dishwasher wont run. i replaced the control board, still no power to board. i checked the power cord for electrical, and there is power to the cord. any suggestions?

having replaced the board and no power it. To me it seems like maybe a wire in between the inner/outer door panel may be broke. Check the area where the wires come from under the tub and enter the arae between the door panels and see if over time from a wire rubbing during the opening/closing of the door if a wire broke. Espically check the black wire from the house power connection into the control board

I don't see a power cord - does it need to be hard wired?

Many appliances do not come with a power cord. This leaves the option to the consumer to either hard wire to a terminal box, or purchase and install a power cord. You can purchase a three-prong power cord from any major hardware store. Power tool replacement cords work best, because they handle current well and have thick insulation to prevent chaffing. A good 15 to 20 amp cord is recommended. Whether you hard wire, or add a power cord that you can simply plug in, the wires as terminated as follows (U.S. Standard):

WHITE - NEUTRAL
BLACK - HOT (120VAC)
GREEN - Ground - terminate to ground lug

If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.

Power up to the control panel \ Dishwasher dead

First, power usually comes in from plug, under the kitchen sink, and shares a socket with the disposal(which is controled with the wall switch) make sure you are plugged into the right recepticle. try a lamp or something in the plug make sure it's got power. then check where the cord attaches to the dishwasher..usually behind the kickplate bottom, right front. Dissconnect power then remove the cover at that point you might find the wire nuts or connection is loose..if that is good ...then there could be a broken wire in the that feeds the timer/controller..those are hard to find...a wire that looks good but within the insulation of the wire, it's broken, usually where the wire bends at the bottom of the door.

The dishwasher doesnt turn on

1) Be sure the power is on, the door is latched, and the control is turned on. If absolutely nothing happens--in other words, nothing on the control panel is lit and there are no signs of life-- the appliance may not be receiving power. If the dishwasher's cord is plugged into a receptacle, check to see if it is a GFCI receptacle with a reset button. 20090521162623_gfci-receptacle.gifIf it is, push the reset. If it isn't or if the dishwasher's cord is wired directly to the electrical box, look for any other receptacles in the kitchen that have a reset and and try resetting them. (This is a longshot but it's easy to do and may solve the problem if the dishwasher is on the same circuit.) To test a receptacle for power, you can also just plug a hand-held appliance into it.
2) If that doesn't work, check the electrical panel for a tripped circuit breaker or blown fuse. If you find one, switch the breaker to "Off" and then back to "On" or replace the fuse.
3) If electrical power is available to the dishwasher but the appliance doesn't run, the problem is likely to be a defective door switch, timer, or selector switch. To solve a door switch problem, you may be able to adjust the door latch’s strike slightly, using a screwdriver (turn off the power to the dishwasher at the electrical panel when working on it). Kitchen aide dishwasher KUD101IL control panel not working

1. Check plug outlet.
2. Check electrical box underneath the d/w where power cord connected to d/w (you have to take the kick panel off . The box located on right side). Sometime you can find burn wire there.
3. Check the thermal fuse on computer board. It is inside the control panel on right hand side. The fuse has 2 white plastic connector which sticks out, easy to find.

Can't find power cord to plug in the dishwasher to the wall

dishwashers are set up to be hard wired in. however, you can install a regular plug to the wiring for the dishwasher and plug it into an outlet that way. the wiring box is in the front of the dishwasher behind the kick panel. Joe
