That's an easy one to find if it is overheating. Open up the unit and get it powered up. Get yourself a can of Servisol Freeze Spray. When it stops working spray a part which you think might cause it. Do this one part at a time, or you might get a faulty outcome. If the application of spray on a part brings it to life, you might have found the part. To be certain, heat it up with a soldering iron to make it switch off. Then try the spray again. If it does it twice then replace the part.
