Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
You can not fix it yourself, or you'll void xbox 360 warranty policy. If your xbox is flashing red, you have set off the red-ring-of-death, also known as (rrod) the ring itself is telling you your xbox has been damaged and needs to be fixed (not by you tho, but by the xbox company). This can be mostly caused by poor airflow thru the system and overheating from the cause of it. For future reference, try to research about keeping your xbox from having this happen. One thing you will less likely find in this search for help , is that you should avoid having your xbox 360 standing up. I know you can have it standing up the long way, because it looks more awsome this way, but the thing about that is, your giving the console less air ventilation from flowing thru the xbox that is needed. put the xbox on its flat side with all air vents showing and not blocked. This will cause less of a chance from getting (rrod) again.
