Is it Like an FBI Warning, If so this is a virus. It will only come on when the internet is hooked up. To get rid of this is quite complicated. I have done it once.

SOURCE: How do I replace the

Remove the old drive and place it in a spare bay setting it as slave with the jumpers on the drive.
Fit the new hard drive set as master.
Swith on and boot your system with your OS disk in the CD/DVD Drive or USB Flash Drive.
Load your system on the new drive, the BIOS should see what has happened and automatically reset itself.
When your OS is loaded, download all the drivers you require to run VGA, DVD players etc etc
Copy any of the data on drive D as you require.
You will have two drives.
Otherwise just replace the drive and load your OS and drivers.
Hope that helps

I uninstalled the audio by accident how do i install it again ?

Reboot the laptop, the Software should ID the Hardware and apply the generic driver, Or, Open Control Panel, Device Manager, San for Hardware Changes, the Scan should ID and apply the driver, reboot. OR, you can find the Dell Latitude D610 Windows XP drivers here: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/Product/latitude-d610. Run Windows Updates and Dell Updates for current and up-to-date drivers.

My Dell Latitude d610 Says it's connected to the internet, and it is plugged in. I go to Internet Explorer, and it says it's not connected!

Mine does that too and though there can be a few different reasons on what causes it, I've found that just right clicking on the connection in the task bar and clicking repair. That has always worked so far. I did find this topic and maybe this might help too - http://forums.techguy.org/networking/584235-solved-connected-but-no-internet.html I like easy though so I'll just keep right clicking as long as it works! ;)

Power for battery on DELL laptop Latitude D610 as posted FixYa

In the BIOS, does it show the battery and it's current state? As weird as it sounds, I've fixed an issue like this on a D600 by updating the BIOS to the most current level. Weird, but true.
