Question about Sony VAIO VPC-SA33GX/BI Laptop
it sounds like there are two or three possible solutions.
1. Enter the bios after reboot laptop, and disable the soundcard. If this works then there is an IRQ conflict. You will need to reinstall the soundcard with the Wi-Fi switched on to resolve this.
2. Some firewalls are unpredictable. disable you firewall and browse to safe sites. see if that helps. Your Broadband router should protect you machine. !!! don't turn off you anti virus!!!
3. Your driver or your WIFI card are faulty. Reinstall the driver for your Wi-fi card from your laptop.
If none of the above work I would say replace your Wi-fi card.
