That would depend on the make and model of the fan. best to check the manufactorer web site for this information or call them if you do not have internet.

I would love to tell you yes, but I ended up buying new fan.
The common wire was broken, buried in the windings and no way to repair without
damaging the windings.
Could not find anything on line.

Sorry,

How do I clean the table fan? It is very dirty.

Remove the front grille with a phillips screwdriver, there are also two T10 Torx screws on the top and bottom. Wipe everything down with disinfectant wipes. Do NOT use water, with the exception of the front (dry it thoroughly). Don't remove the fan blades. Replace the front grille and screws.

I have a honeywell upright fan, which was purchased about 18 months ago. The fan has just stopped working. The lights go on and it will oscillate but the fan has stopped functioning. Not sure how to fix it

Hi,
The problem would be the burn out thermistor(FUSE), it is located in the winding of the motor itself. Before that check the wiring connection in the speed switch, the main line might have cut off.
Using the tester, check the continuity of the fuse. You can't see the fuse, it is mainly covered and connected in the capacitor line.
The cause of the burned fuse is overheating, the shaft bushing needs oil or have to be replace!
Hope that helps you out!

HT - 800 Table Fan, I would like to know what the recommended maintenance is for it?

The owner's manual states "This fan does not disassemble". It appears this fan is maintenance-free.

I hope you find this to be very helpful in answering your question. :-)
