No switch on dead monitor power cord and wall outlet ok there is no power in the monitor - no lighting of green led.

Charger seems to have both red and green lites flashing at the same time no sequence and both batteries connected read 4.0 VDC, are these chargers repariable or throw aways


Your manual is here. The section on charging states, that green blinking means your battery is fully charged but blinking red means that your charger is faulty. I would say repairable.

1. Plug the female connector of the AC power cord (supplied) to the AC receptacle on the charger and plug in the male connector on the AC power cord into the wall outlet.

2. The On/Off LED indicator is blinking RED, this is abnormal. Unplug AC power cord from the on-board battery charger and wall outlet. Charger may need to be replaced. Contact an Invacare dealer or qualified technician.

3. When the On/Off LED indicator light is Off, charger is Off.

4. When the Charge LED indicator light is YELLOW, the batteries are charging.

5. When the Charge LED indicator light is solid GREEN, the batteries are fully charged (as their condition will allow).

6. When charging is complete, unplug the male connector of the AC power cord from the wall outlet and then unplug the female connector of the AC power cord from the AC receptacle on the charger.

Also, here's some tricks I would try...
1. Verify the monitor's power cord is plugged firmly into the wall outlet and the back of the monitor.
2. Verify the monitor cable is firmly connected to the computer and the monitor.
3. Verify that you have turned the monitor power switch on.
4. If the power light on the monitor is not on, test the wall outlet (plug in a light or something you know works).
5. If the power light on the monitor is not on, try a different power cord.
6. If the power light is on and yellow or orange or flashing, but nothing displays, or the display is incorrect, borrow a monitor from a friend. If that works, your monitor probably needs replaced.
7. Also, you could try your display on a friend's computer. If it doesn't work, your monitor probably needs replaced. If it works properly on your friends computer, the problem may be with your computers video output port, motherboard video chip (or video card, if you have one), or drivers.

My sa200 will not turn back on

3. Verify that you have turned the monitor power switch on.
4. If the power light on the monitor is not on, test the wall outlet (plug in a light or something you know works).
5. If the power light on the monitor is not on, try a different power cord.
6. If the power light is on and yellow or orange or flashing, but nothing displays, or the display is incorrect, borrow a monitor from a friend. If that works, your monitor probably needs replaced.

How do i factory reset my NEC LCD1712 Monitor?

My Power Edge is not starting. On the power supply there are no LEDs whatsoever lit. The cord is OK TO the supply since I have tried it. The server is stone dead and does not start. What is wrong?


In most cases like this, if there are no lights on the back of the power supplies, (i assume there are 2, as I have a 2950 and it has 2) that they are dead, and need to be replaced. If you haven't tried it already try this: 1. Swap out power cords, try different ones. 2. Swap out surge protector if you are using one. 3. Switch wall outlets that the surge protector or power cord is plugged into. If none of that helps then you can safely assume the power supplies are dead. Did you have any power outage or surges lately that you know of?

Below you will find my recommendations for troubleshooting this issue:

1. Reseat the power cord and verify a good power source.

To reseat the power cord, follow the steps below:

1.1 Power down the system.
1.2 Unplug the power cord.
1.3 Wait approximately one minute.
1.4 Reseat the power cord.
1.5 Verify that the power cord is plugged directly into a known good power outlet.

2. Verify that the monitor is receiving power from a known good outlet and bypass any power strips.

To test the power outlet, perform the following steps:

2.1 Unplug the monitor power cable from the power outlet.
2.2 Plug in a different device, and verify that the device is operational.
2.3 If there is no power try another outlet. Remove any power strips and try plugging directly into the main power outlet.

3. Verify the monitor is powered on and the power button is engaged.

Ensure that the monitor is powered on and that the power button is fully engaged. To do so, check the power LED on the front of the monitor; it should be lit.

NOTE: There are two types of power switches:
A mechanical switch characterized by a long travel. You have to push it further and you will hear an audible click.
An electrical switch that has a short travel and almost no click.

A lit monitor LED can be any of the following:

* Green
* Blinking green
* Yellow
* Blinking yellow
* A combination, such as alternating green and yellow

Any of these states indicate the monitor is receiving power and that you should proceed.

4. Swap power cables.

To try a known good power cable on the monitor, follow the instructions below:

4.1 Turn off a working monitor.
4.2 Unplug the cable from the back of the working monitor, and unplug the cable from the wall.
4.3 Unplug the cable from the monitor in question.
4.4 Plug in the cable that came from the working monitor.

5. Run the monitor self test.

To run the monitor self test, perform the following steps:

5.1 Power off both the computer and the monitor.
5.2 Unplug the video cable from the computer or video card.
5.3 Reseat the power cord to the monitor, ensuring it is plugged into a known-good outlet.
5.4 Power on the monitor.

NOTE: The monitor self test will move around on some monitor models. If the monitor self test moves, allow it to move to the affected areas of the monitor to check for the problem described.

If the Self test failed, it's possible that the monitor is faulty. Contact dell to check if it's still under warranty so they can replace it.

Try these steps.
If Power supply light does not turn on (or no power supply LED)
Perform the following steps, in order, until power is restored or it is determined that there is a hardware failure:
NOTE: If the Power Supply fan spins when the PC is turned on but the light does not come on, it is possible the LED is defective. If this is the case, use the section Power supply light comes on or flashes .
1. Disconnect everything from the PC, including the power cord.
2. With the power cord disconnected, press the power button on the front of the computer. Plug in the power cord and test to see if the computer can turn on. If not, continue using these steps.
3. Replace the power cord with another power cord, like the one used by the monitor.
Test to see if the computer can turn on. If not, continue using these steps.
4. Ensure that the voltage selector switch is on the correct setting, 115V for North America.
5. With the power cord removed, flip the red voltage selector switch to the opposite position, wait about five seconds, and then switch the red voltage selector switch back to its original location.
This ensures that the voltage switch is engaged and set correctly for your country/region.
6. Plug in the power cord and test to see if the computer can turn on. If not, continue using these steps.
7. Plug a lamp into the same outlet to see if the wall outlet has power. Try the computer in a different outlet in order to eliminate the outlet as a possible source of the issue. Test both to see if the wall outlets have power.
8. Remove all extension cords, power strips, surge protectors and any converters that remove ground. Plug the power cable directly to the wall outlet. Test for power. If this fixes the issue, find the device that is causing the issue and do not use it.
9. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the build-up of dust from the power supply fan vent holes. Make sure that the PC is turned off and that the power cord is plugged into a grounded outlet. Only use the end of the vacuum hose near the outside of the fan entrance.
Plug in the power cord and test to see if the computer can turn on. If not, continue using these steps.
10. If all of the above steps have been tried and the power supply light remains off, use the steps in the next section, use the next section Power supply light comes on or flashes , to reseat the cables and check the power switch connector.
