My lock button as well as my sound buttons won't work

It sounds like you may have accidentally turned them off. To make sure the sounds are on, do the following:

1. Click on "Settings"
2. Select "Sounds"
3. At the bottom you will see "Lock Sounds" and "Keyboard Clicks".

If the sounds are on, I would then recommend preforming what's called a "Soft Reset". To preform this, do the following:

1.Press down the "Home" button and the "Lock" button at the same time.
2.Hold these buttons until you see the apple logo appear.
3.The iPhone may take up to 2 minutes to come back to your "Lock Screen"

This should fix your problem.

I have a hp pavilion dv5020 laptop. All of a sudden when I type j it types 1, k it types 2 etc. The scroll and num lock light is on and when I push it the scroll lock comes on or goes off. How do I turn...

Press the blue key marked Fn (should be bottom left, I believe) and hold it down. Then press the key that has blue writing that says 'NumLk' (or something similar to that). Should turn it off.

The arrows arent working, scroll lock must be on and I cant figure out how to undo. there is no scroll lock button

GOOD NEWS!
There is a scroll lock button on your computer and this is how you get to it.
Step 1
Click the Windows Start button which is located in the lower left corner of your screen.
Step 2
Click on All Programs. You will see a list of all the programs installed on your computer.
Step 3
Select Accessories from the list of available Programs. It is usually in the upper left on the list of available programs as the list is alphabetized.
Step 4
Select Accessibility, which is a sub-program of Accessories.
Step 5
Select the On-Screen Keyboard.
Step 6
Select the Scroll-Lock by clicking on the on-screen 'key' labelled 'slk' located upper right on the on-screen keyboard between the 'psc' and the 'brk' keys.

This should get that pesky scroll lock off right away!
Sincerely, CBR2009

No keyboard instructions

You need to press the Function button, then the num lock button. The function button may be labeled FN or F in a different color, the same color as the num lock button.

If that doesn't work, go to start, all programs, accessories, accesibility, on screen keyboard....it will display a regular keyboard on your screen, then click on the num lock key on that keyboard.

How to remove the keyboard to access the RAM memory slot

If you examine the area of the case above the keyboard (the small area between the keyboard and the screen hinges), you should see that it is a separate piece from the rest of the case. This small section of case should just pry off (be careful not to break it or the locking tabs). Once you have pried this off, you should see 2 or 3 screws holding the keyboard down. Remove these screws and the keyboard should come out. If you are just accessing the RAM, you shouldn't have to unplug the keyboard ribbon cable.
