SOURCE: Bostitch N79WW Leaking air from the trigger. Can't

See the link below for a parts breakdown of the gun. Usually this problem is a defective trigger assembly and requires that the trigger be replaced. You can also check the Orings. If there is an air leak this can also occur.

I should shoot al lot more that twice. I have put thousands of rounds through my shotgun. If it shoots twice with a single pull of the trigger, you have an illegal machine gun, most likely due to a broken part in the trigger assembly. Get it fixed before you shoot it again. Right now the penalty for even possessing such a device is 10 years in jail.

Numrich gun parts may have the parts you need.

How do i install a utg shotgun top rail #mb500t on a mossberg 500 tactical cruiser shotgun?

For any top mounted rail on any gun, you'll need the gun to have or be drilled for the proper screws. Your Mossy, if it's already drilled, will have four tiny little screws plugging four tiny little holes on the topo fthe receiver. Remove those, put the rail in place, and replace the screws with the ones included in the rail kit. If your gun IS NOT drilled, you can have it drilled....which will cost more than the rail kit....or you can skip that rail and go for a clamshell or side mount rail instead. Both of those use the ejector screw and the trigger retainer pin to attach them.

I recently purchased a Mossberg 500A shotgun and the first few times I have shot it, it has been perfect. Now it seems like the trigger is getting harder to pull when I take a shot.

I would try oiling the mechanism first, and it may have a trigger adjustment that may be modified for the trigger pull. Odds are it may have some friction on the trigger mechanism at first and may just need some lube. Try this and if all else fails, take it to the dealer that you purchased it from and have them evaluate it.
Hope this helps

My 1187 stays locked back after the first shot will not feed next round any ideas

the remington 1187 is a very nice shotgun. i myself would remove the **** stock by removing the screws un the **** plate the using a 9/16 or 15mm socket and enough extention to reach the nut that holds it to the actual firearm. the remove the forearm . soak the bottom half of the gun by submurging the entire trigger ans magazine assembly in a buckett of kerosene or some other mild solvent like mineral spirits for 24 hrs. make sure to do this with the magazine open during 12 hours of this and 12 hours closed. pick up a few cans of brake clean spray from the local parts store and begin a complete flushing out of any loose materials. then be sure to relubricate with a 3in1 oil or an equivelent. this should free up the machanism that triggers the chamber as to wether or not the weapon is empty.
