Ac in my house not blowing air at all

The a/c was working fine earlier today and for some reason tonight it isn't blowing any air at all. the thermostat is at 75 and it say the temp of the house is 85 and the air outside is cooler than the air in the house. I don't hear the unit outside running either and the a/c unit is only 4 years old

Check the drain for some type of float switch. possible the drain is backed up and the unit shut off on safety.

SOURCE: Goodman CK60-1C model central AC unit blwing hot air

Clicking sound is the contactor engaging to start the outside unit. Check for a burnt off wire at the contactor. For some reason you are not getting power to the outside unit. If you find a burnt off wire shut off all power to it then remake the connection at the point of the circuit break.

SOURCE: My AC unit wont blow the cold air.

No, you probably have a bad evaporative fan motor, capacitor or switching. It usually takes a Pro 1/2 hour to track down such a problem with good training.

SOURCE: AC not cooling during the day

Your AC cooling efficiency is low when he ambient temperature is high and naturally it cools well when the outside temperature drops.

Please remove the filter on the grill and try to clean it under the tap water and after removing all the dust fix it back to the unit. This would increase the cooling efficiency of the unit.

Your AC is also five years old. Please avoid frequent opening of doors or windows.

Ensure that the exhaust fan and the blower of your unit are functioning normal.

The technician might not have done a proper job in fixing the area where the refrigerant would have leaked out. Please check the refrigerant pressure to ensure that no further refrigerant leak has taken place. Or even servicing your unit he would have punchered the tubes resulting in very slow leak of refrigerant resulting in no cooling or less cooling. It takes around a month to feel the pinch of it and the refrigerant. One fine morning after sometime the unit will run and it would start throwing hot air instead of cool breeze!

Maytag m6x06f2a like new but doest blow cold air

Make sure the Thermostat is set correctly! The problem with mine was the temp in the house was colder than my A/C lowest thermostat setting.I had my AC temp setting on 66 degrees. The temp in the house was a little lower so the AC didnt kick on just the fan blowing cool air and no compressor working. The next day it was warmer out and the house temp was 79. So when I powered up the AC set at 66 i heard the compressor kick in and the AC worked fine.

Heater does not blow hot or even warm air

This is not a heater valve problem, for one thing there isn't any such part in the model. The problem is a defective air temperature control blend door inside the air ducting.

My air conditioner isnt blowing cold air

is the ac a manual one or automatic? if it's manual then it froze and will no longer work. it froze and is all done working. time for a new one. I bought one 12 years ago and apparently I was suppose to turn on and off. The ac couldn't do that. IF it works on it's own maybe the circuit isn't the higher amp for 220 ac units.

If my compressor wheel isn't spinning how do I know if it is the compressor or the ac clutch? System is charged but ac is blowing hot air

The question is: why isn't the compressor clutch turning

The compressor isn't likely seized,it may leak refrigerant,
but won't be what your asking.

The clutch can be jumped to test that

If okey, then you have to diagnose the entire
A/C Electrical System

How do you know it is properly charged, you put
refrigerant gauges on the system?

Car blows warm air when idling

It sounds like your AC unit could be overheating or even damaged.

AC units have a sensor that will turn them off automatically to prevent damage from overheating. If there is an insufficient amount of air flow, the unit will heat up, and then eventually turn off.

When the car is moving, more air is forced over the unit, likely keeping it cool enough to run, however, when the car come to a stop, it loses that air flow, and quickly heats up. Thus, the AC would work while the vehicle is in motion, and overheat and stop when the car is stopped and idling.

However, the AC unit could be completely blown. The cold air while moving could be just a case of air being forced into the car. Think of a house fan, the fast the wind blows on you, the cooler it gets.... Thus, it could be an illusion that the AC is working when car is in motion, when it really isn't.

Hope this helps.

Drivers side a/c isn't working, only blowing warm air. passenger side working fine

Its due to bad actuator else check with r134a pressure at the low sided port and update it. You can get necessary Hyundai AC parts at http://www.discountacparts.com/Hyundai/A-C_Compressor.html

Central air/heat pump not putting out cold air

I have some things for you to check. If you look at the outside unit the lines going into the house. Are they frozen? Have you had any yard work done, the reason I ask is they could have accidentally cut or pulled out the thermostat wires to the ac unit. Also, inside check for the same thing, frozen lines. Also, you may want to check the drain coming from the inside unit, it may be clogged.
