Question about Wacom Cintiq 21UX (CINTIQ21UXNR)
Hello, I have a Cinqit 21UX. I recently, I was very careful with packing the device, using the original box and packing materials I saved when I got the machine in 2010. Today I plugged it in and fired it up for the first time in about a month or so. Upon launching Sketchbook Pro, I realized the pen would skip an entire section of the screen (to the far left, but not all the way to the edge). It basically just skips that entire region all the way to the top and bottom. I tried to update the drivers and calibrate the screen but it did not work. Any advice will be appreciated, I am concerned it may have been damaged in the move although the picture is crisp and I don't see any evidence of damage. It works perfectly outside of this. your pen nib might not be working, when you bought the tablet it should have come with three replaement nibs, just pull to old one out (i use my teeth (: ) and push the new one in, it shoudl fit pretty snugly.

SOURCE: My Pen Doesn't Work
I had the same problem. Tried to re-install, install the newest software, but non of that worked. So what I did is knocked 3 times very hard with the other side of the pen on the tablet... and it's working fine now. I guess the tablet just needed a little boost. Hope this will do the trick for you too.

he solution is to update the new driver for your bamboo. They are out
of date so you need to go here:

I'm just gonna pass on a email from Tech Support I recieved.
"It sounds as though your pen has pressure in proximity. This is present when the tip sensor of your pen is stuck down causing the pen to think that it’s clicking before it’s even touching anything. What you may want to try would be to remove the nib from the tip end of the pen, it pulls straight out with a pair or tweezers or your teeth, and leave that out overnight with the pen left on its side. Place the nib back in the morning and if the issue persists then you may have a defective pen tip."
The rest consists of personal info and warranty advice so I'll leave it there.
