i lent my sony cyber shot camera to someone and when they gave it back to me an flashing error appeared on the LCD screen saying E:91:01 and it wont let me take photos with the flash... can anyone plz help

according to the manual and E:91 code means "a camera malfunction that you cannot reverse has occurred" rhe corrective action states "Press the RESET button"

I had the same problem. Went into setup menu and scrolled down to "initialise" option. This option reset my camera, and then asked for the time and date. After setting the time/date, the camera was able to take flash pics again! Thanks!
