SOURCE: where is the card reader connector on the mother board

You can find a detailed manual here
http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d865glc/sb/cs-008973.htm

If your card reader has a USB type connector you can use the connector J9F1 or J9H1.

SOURCE: problem with oven door latch

Hello noahsark,

Welcome to Fixya

You said, after Hurricane Ike, when the electricity came back on, you noticed the oven door latch was in lock position and the door would not close because it would hit the door latch. You guess the door latch locked on it's own with the surge of electricity but did not lock the door in place. And that you have never used the self cleaning oven, so the door latch has never been used. How can I get the latch to unlock itself?

Was the range get under water?
If so there may be some shorts in it or faulty electronic parts!

Try turning the range off and then turning the power off at the breaker for 5 minutes.
This is should reset the system in an electronic range.
If it works , great .
If not you may need service to diagnose your electronic problem.
Let me know that it works!!!!!

Send me the Brand and mode;l number.

Please remember to leave a rating when you finish.

It's the gear drive. There are kits online for about $40, if you're semi-handy you can replace it yourself. Search for liftmaster replacement parts.

Rear hatch door of2004 toyota sienna xle will not open electrically

Operation of the power back door is controlled by the power back door ECU and the power back door drive unit. Either or both units could be defective.
If the I/P indicator is falsely on, there could be a problem with the body ECU or as a result of failed communication with the power back door ECU and the power back door drive unit.

Appears when initiating self cleaning. Can clear code, but door locked Does not begin self cleaning cycle.

Check this procedure to solve it:
1. If door latched:
A. Disconnect power from unit.
B. Check wires and connectors from control to door switch, then from door switch to control. If no damage to wires and all connectors okay, proceed to
step C.
C. Replace door switch.
D. Re-apply power.
E. Press and hold any key down for 1 minute to clear F5 failure code from memory. F2 will appear. Press CANCEL and observe for 1 minute to ensure operation is correct.

2. If door not latched:
A. Disconnect power from unit.
B. Check wires and connectors from control to latch switch, then from latch switch to control. If no damage to wires and all connectors okay, proceed to
step C.
C. Repeat steps A and B for door switch.

3. Measure door switch (door open = switch open small low voltage terminals). Replace switch if defective.
4. Measure latch switch (unlatch = switch open, CAUTION - oven light contacts are closed). Replace switch if defective.
5. If corrections are made in any step, reconnect power to control. Press and hold any key for 1 minute to clear R failure code from memory. F2 will appear. Press CANCEL and observe for 1 minute to ensure operation is correct.
6. If failure remains, disconnect power and replace control. Here is the control board to order.

The part comes with a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.

E1 F5 code after self clean cycle. its been 12 hours and wont unlock and still says code

Hi.

E1 and F5 (F5-E1) means that the Self clean latch will not lock. The problem is usually fixed replacing the door latch. If the door latch is working, check wiring to door latch. The control module causing the error is not very common but possible. If the latch and wiring are OK, check control board.

Here troubleshooting from manual:

1. If door latched:

1. Disconnect power from unit.
2. Check wires and connectors from control to door switch, then from door switch to control. If no damage to wires and all connectors okay, proceed to step C.
3. Replace door switch.
4. Re-apply power.
5. Press and hold any key down for 1 minute to clear F5 failure code from memory. F2 will appear. Press CANCEL and observe for 1 minute to ensure operation is correct.

2. If door not latched:

1. Disconnect power from unit.
2. Check wires and connectors from control to latch switch, then from latch switch to control. If no damage to wires and all connectors okay, proceed to step C.

Neather rear electric side door will operate with the door switchs at the doors but operate o k with the console buttons up front or remote buttons. how do i fix ?

if i were you i would check all fuses for blown ones. once you have checked for blown fuses i would check the wiring with a volt meter to insure that it is fully functional the wiring on the doors will be easy to access if you cut into the wire coupling coming out of the frame.

There is a code f9 on my ditigal range and the oven door will not open and the stove does not work

Hi. this is a door latch failure code. Kindly, check the wiring that is linking the door latch mechanism, to the main control board. If the wiring is connected and the contacts are well, this will lead to a failed door latch mechanism. I would advise to test before purchasing a new latch assembly. Once you have exposed the door latch assembly, use the procedure below to test.

Before repairs or further testing can begin you must disconnect the electricity at the fuse panel, at the circuit breaker panel, or by pulling the plug. Make sure the power is off before proceeding. Set the latch to the "clean" position and test for circuit continuity at the terminals of the switch with your VOM's ohmmeter function. If there is no continuity, the switch is faulty. Use caution when testing. If there is continuity, this will confirm that the main control board has failed. Control board failure, in this case, is highly unlikely, but possible.
