Sansui ctvk2k21 powersupply problem - Televison & Video

The codes for a universal remote to work with a Sansui television are:

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

Sounds like a problem with the powersupply, or circuitry. Get professional service or a replacement.

there are 3 possible problems
the backlight could have failed
the powersupply for the backlight could have failed
or the backlight inverter has failed.
i would suggest taking it to a technician to find the exact source.
you can also take it apart and use a volt meter to test the voltage on the back light's power supply to see if that's the problem. but this kindof probrem is usually caused by the backlight burning out.

dear,i also had suffer from it's service menu code. in some days ago i had been seeing a web site, their was had every service menu.then i got your sansui tv model.your sansui "ctvk2k21"model's in the IC no. is "tda9370ps/n3/a/1932" service menu is press "menu(from remote) & 0,3,2,3(from remote)".for more information call me for in any electronics gagged problem.

sounds like caps in the powersupply are bad they take a long time to value up

Check for short circuit on your Powersupply. If you can isolate it, much better. check the voltage regulator if it supplies power to the system. better still check the regulator itself.
