Almost all Nokia N8 user is having a problem with there internet access. Try to do this It will helps. Try to uninstall all the newest application you downloaded from your N8 phone. Now restart your phone. Right after you restart... If your using Wi-fi, go to connection manager in setting, disconnect your wifi connection and recconnect to it again.
As far as I can tell, Your phone is from vodafone and you are trying to connect it to a different carrier's internet. If this phone is unlocked, you need to input the correct WAP/Mobile internet settings for your current carrier.
If this phone is not unlocked and cannot access the internet of your current carrier, Phone your provider and ask them to push OTA settings to your phone.
You may not have saved the settings for accessing internet from your phone. You will have to contact your service provider, who on demand will send you the required settings. You will have to save each one of them (around 5 settings will be send to you). After saving it, you can access the internet from your phone easily.

You will need to get the internet connection settings from your service provider. Contact your mobile service provider and download the settings. Also some service providers require you to activate some kind of internet packs before browsing. Check if this is the case with your SP too.
Same... I can't access it. Maybe it depends on your location or what sim you are using. Some sim cards don't allow access to the internet while others allow free acccess.
Which operating system r u using?If its Vista, then d/l new Nokia PC suite which compatible to Vista.
Check settings option, if correct operator is selected.
Also, u r using a laptop, u can try connecting it in different USB ports.
