That lever is part of a hinge assembly - if the hinge has broke (and from your question it seems that it is) you have to literally de-case your laptop to remove the hinge assembly in order to replace it.

Turn off ice maker on Whirlpool refriferator freezer model ED2FHASB03

On the right side of the ice maker there is a long metal lever called a "bale". Carefully and slowly lift that lever to the 90 degree position. You should feel a catch and the bale will remain in that position. That shuts off the ice maker operation.

Third row seat latched on left but not right

I just ran into the exact problem with my 2004 Suburban. Once I got the seat to lay down all the other mechanisms worked as they should and I could get the seat in and out as usuall. I found this post below which explained how to get the seat down. Wish I could take credit for figuring it out on my own but I can't.
"After working on it for a couple of days here is what I did to remove the 3rd row seat.
On the rear lower right and left side there are plastic covers, if you push the seat material forward a little you can see a hole where a nut holds it on, remove the nut. On the left side pull back the plastic cover and you can see the wire and the lever that releases the seat. With my foot holding up the #1 release lever on the right side I used an open end wrench to push forward the left side lever and the seat folded down.
I then used the #2 and #3 levers to remove the seat.
To view the whole cable, open the lower seat cover, it is an overlapping plastic clip, My problem was a loose cable, similar to a brake cable on a bicycle, after fixing it I have had no problems."
To remove the nut I used an 8mm socket wrench. My problem was not a loose cable but the #1 mechanism wouldn't pull up all the way, I'm guessing because that left side locked in out of order. I pushed that left side lever down with a hard tool and had my 5yr old daughter pull up on the #1 and the seat folded right down.
Hope this helps if you havn't already gotten it fixed.

My honda odyssey 2002 hood latch stuck it opened the hood and now not closing even droping the hood from difference hight and even pressing it ???

SOUND LIKE YOUR HOOD LATCH IS STUCK IN THE RELEASE POSITION. YOU CAN DO TWO THINGS. REPLACE YOUR HOOD LATCH OR PUSH THE LATCH BACK INTO POSITION MANUALLY EVERYTIME YOU OPEN YOUR HOOD. IT'S EASY. FIRST CHECK YOUR HOOD RELEASE LEVER (DRIVER SIDE KICK PANEL)AND MAKE SURE IT'S MOVING FREELY. IF LEVER IS OK,GO TO YOUR HOOD LATCH. LOOK TO THE RIGHT OF THE LATCH (LOOK DOWN FROM THE TOP VIEW)AND YOU'LL SEE A SMALL METAL BAR WITH A SPRING PULLING DOWN ON IT(MIGHT NEED FLASH LIGHT TO SEE BAR AND SPRING). TAKE A FLATHEAD SCREWDRIVER AND PUSH DOWN ON THE METAL BAR WHERE SPRING CONNECT. THE BAR SURE MOVE ABOUT 1/4 INCH DOWN. CLOSE YOU HOOD AND YOU'RE DONE. YOU JUST HAVE TO PUSH THE BAR DOWN EVERYTIME YOU OPEN IT.

Chair stuck in upright position, will not go down but the back of the chair moves backwards and forwards

Hard to say definitively without know the make and model of your particular chair but if your chair is anything like mine the same lever underneath it that makes the chair go up and down will also fix this: the lever can slide left and right as well as being flipped up and down. That's what always fixes it when it happens to my chair anyway.

Dyson Rollerball wont clikc into unpright position.

I've just had the same problem! The small metal poles either side of the red push bar at the bottom of the hoover should both be in a groove/runner. The problem is that one or both of the metal poles has popped out of the runner and is stuck in one of the holes next to the runners. Gently pull the red bar from the hoover and pop the metal attachment back into the groove. Problem solved :)

Dyson 28 handle is stuck in the locked and upright position. Vac runs fine, just can't get the handle to release to run the vac

On the lower right side of the body of this model is a air duct piece that can get stuck and won't allow you to use the release. Take out that piece and put it back on again to see if that will unlock it.

Handle wont go to upright position

The red pedal has slipped out of position. On both ends of the red pedal you'll see metal rods (the axel of the pedal). On one side you'll see the metal rod sits into a long groove, on the other side you'll see the metal rod sits into a round hole. They both have to be in the long grooves so you have to reposition the rod that's into the round hole by pulling it out and sliding it back into the long groove above the round hole. You'll now be able to bring the handle up and lock the machine back into the upright position.

Charging the Air Conditioner

You'll need the hose and cans of air. On the passenger side under the hood, there is a black cylinder tank with a metal tube and black cap. Remove the cap, attach your hose and canned air and follow the directions on the can. Should say something to the effect of shake can well before use, attach hose to can, twist the lever to break the can's seal, reverse the lever to allow the air flow, attach to vehicle, hold can upright, rotate can from the 12 oclock position to the 3 oclock position every few seconds until the can is empty or your cylinder will not take any more.
