This is a new Gaggia New Espresso006 Dose machine. I cannot figure out how to remove the Shower Holding Plate to clean it, the gasket and surrounding portifilter holder. Previous Gaggia Carezza had two allen screws. This Holding Plate has two notches on opposite sides with what appears to be a screw hole in the middle. The machine did not come with instructions for this.

I'd say unscrew the screw and pry the thinger off with a palate knife.

- I have the exact same proble. The machine did not even come with the gasket and there is no seal with the filterholder and therefore the machine cannot even pressure up.
If I find out how to do it I will let you know.

i think this will give you better picture what to do, but you dont need to remove the seal if it isnt leaking.
