Question about Kenwood Audio Players & Recorders
The original remote is lost. The unit powers on but no volume. I need either a code that will work with a universal remote (I have an all4one) or a way to adjust volume manually. I have tried all Kenwood codes I can find on line-even if they were not for tuners. To no avail. And yes I contacted Kenwood, which was no help. Thanks for any help you can provide.
Of course it has no volume the KT56 is a radio tuner! It needs to be connected to a power amplifier to hear anything. The audio out sockets need to be plugged into a stereo amp that has speakers. The KT56 is not a stand alone device!

SOURCE: remote control code
You need to let us know the make and exact model number of the universal remote. All universal remotes do not use the same codes. We'll try to help you control your technics sa-gx100 upon your reply.

30176 is the code you need . Press Aux and then hold setup until Aux lights up. Enter code. If you want the remote to control the receiver all the time, press Aux and then hold setup until Aux lights up. Enter 993 then press Aux. Aux will flash, now press Cbl and Aux should light up when you use the volume.

I have the Samsung Sound Bar WS1R model. I tried all of the Samsung codes; TV, audio receiver, and audio amplifier. The DVD code 3918 worked for my Verizon FiOS remote. Program it to your AUX button and it will control the volume while your other buttons; channel, menu, etc work the set top box. I hope it works for you too!
