Question about Siemens Refrigerators
We cannot get the IWD to work on our fridge freezer, it worked but now the IWD option is selected within a square and will not let us do anything with it, can't press the + button like the manual says and no water is being dispensed, only plugged the FF in about 4 hours ago but water was coming out before we changed some other settings? Help please?

Well the sheet of ice was caused by the thermostat failing and causing the fridge to continously run therefore causing the over freezing..
Like a car engine if you leave it running for weeks on end without stopping it probably will burn out...
Or like a horse is you have it working day in day out with out rest it will die..
you compressor on your fridge is no more... it ran and ran and now its all worn out .....
The clicking noise at the back of the fridge is the compressor trying to swtich on but it can't
only a professional can legally change over the compressor
as it is a techincal process recharging the fridge with gas
if you need any other help let us know...
you need a new fridge by the way

There can be many reasons for no water supply. Line feeding the refrigerator is clogged or blocked. The water control valve that turns water to ice maker and dispenser is defective or the water filter located inside your refrigerator is in need of change. I will be here to help you go through the steps. Let me know when you are ready, Thanks, Sea Breeze

You can use a hairdryer on the frozen parts.
The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper) between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp ..
