You must test the speaker with VOM continuity 2) reset the microwaves disconnect the power cord by 40 seconds and try again. 3). Defective/damaged touchpad.

Sounds like the inverter (power supply for cooking) or the magnatron which does the work----neither are cheap parts.

sounds like a control/display board issue but if you microwave has a noise filter board (fuse is mounted on it) it could be that

Turntable won't turn


The turntable probably isn't on the spinny thing and that is what makes it turn- try lifting it up and putting it back on.

Turns On by itself


Replace it. I work in sales for Whirlpool. It sounds like the door switch is either sticking or shorted. Also because your turntable continues to run it sounds like a short. Microwaves are a unit we only recommend an authorized technician to work on due to the microwaves it uses.

The cost of a new one is usually easily half or more the cost of repairing it.

Average service call just to give you an estimate is 80-90$

Microwave makes strange sound when turned on

Does not heat


The magnatron unit has malfunctioned. You should be able to replace that unit if you're mechanically apt, although with the price of microwave ovens, you might just as well get a new one that's under warantee.
