Question about Computers & Internet
Craig model CLP285 netbook user manual
Posted by Anonymous on
Well, I did not manage to find the operating instructions or user manual for this device. But in the manufacturer's page, just below the Craig logo, there is a 'Contact' link that opens a window where you can fill with your data and request them a copy of the manual.
Please, check at:
Hope this helps!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get 2 Free calls (no credit card required) and instant help on almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, appliances, handyman, and even pets).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

if you look down the 'barrel' of the charger jack at the end of the cord, you'll see the spring tensioners on the side, carefully push these toward the center of the barrel hole, and you should get a better hold with it

SOURCE: Craig netbook CLP281 When we turn it on all it does is show the Android dude doing a spin on a blinking top. Tried the reset button on the bottom. Not sure what to do Please HELP. This is NEW and NEVE
Ok there might be an issue with your firmware. Push the reset button and hold it for about 10 seconds. Make sure it is turned off. Then turn it back on and wait for a good 5 or 10 minutes, if the little android douche is still there then its stuck on a loop. I reccommend you install a custom rom that I found for mine:
1) Download this, then unzip it and copy the wmt_controlscript and firmwareinstall (this one is a folder) on an SD Card which is empty.
2) Stick the SD card in
3) Wait for it to "upgrade" (it will take a while but you will be seeing the progress).
4) Remove the SD card reboot and you should be up and running!
Note: You need an actual SD card a USB stick wont work from what I have been told!
