Are you sure you have the correct model number? Canon's website doesnt even list this as a product.... In any event, sounds like your power board faulted out and needs replacing.

I have a MP550 and i cant change my ink as the head doesnt move out like it usually does. I have turned the machine off and also unplug it from power supply but the head doesn't want to come out. What...

Unplug the unit from the mains, lift the cover and manually pull the cartridge carrier to the replacement spot. If it carrier appears to be stuck then try to find out what prevents its movement and how to remove that: it could be the carrier lever, the absorber pad at the bottom of the carriage or an cable that got caught.

An error appear in lcd screen of canon Mp550 is 5b00 please send to me an urgent soluation

If you encounter "Error Code 5B00" it means that the Printer Counter Protection is Full and it required a reset and Ink absorber replacement, if you want your printer to work again. There are two ways to reset the Canon MP printer, One is by using a Software tool and the other is manually resetting the EEPROM of the printer. Below is the step by step procedure on how to reset your Canon printer.

1. Using MPtool Software to reset Canon MP Printer
Turn of printer then run mptool software this software automatically detect the printer.
Click reset main and reset platen button in the waste ink counter section.
If you want to reset the cartridge ink level, click reset black and reset color in the ink counter section.

2. Manual Reset of the printer
Turn off the Printers.
Press and Hold the button Resume/Cancel then press POWER button.
Release the Resume/Cancel button while keeping POWER button on press.
Press Resume/Cancel 2 times and then release all the buttons.
When the indicator recorded GREEN - click Resume/Cancel 4 times!
Turn off and On the Canon Pixma MP Printers. And your done.

ERROR 6000 ON MY CANON PRINTER MP550

The front panel was open ON MP550 and had been hit by the a recliner. There is a sensor on that front door that detects that it is open. I had to take the front door off, reach in the slot on the left side of the opening, slide the sensor back up, and reinstall the door while holding the sensor up. Error 6000 went away!!!
