SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: can't switch region back to us on netgear router

Try factory resetting your router. HERE are the instructions directly from Netgear. You may have to search around the site a bit to find your exact model since you did not provide us with a model number but this should get you close.

Change region

There is a factory reset button on the side or base of the router that you need to press to try and unlock. It would have helped if you had provided the full model number of the netgear router.

WNDR3700v2 cannot change region

Why does the WNDR3700 only support 4 channels in 5GHz if the wireless region is Europe, 8 channels if wireless region is United States at "Up to 300Mbps"?

Other 5GHz channels are DFS channels. There are government radars working in those channels. Without passing DFS certification test, we are not allowed to open those DFS channels. We are doing DFS certification and we can open those channels by releasing new firmware after we get DFS certification in the near future. You DO NOT need to change hardware, but just upgrade the WNDR3700 firmware to the new one which supports DFS channels. However, you still need to make sure your 5GHz wireless adapter can support DFS channels. Otherwise, you still can't use those channels.

In short you need to upgrade the firmware :

The unit should work as a router, but the modem typically has to come from your internet service provider (ISP). The modem needs to communicate with their equipment....

Country setting grayed out

You must update the router's firmware to be able for you to change the channel. That's odd because all wireless routers have channel selection regardless of what country code it uses. Well, download the firmware first from the Netgear site and install it.

Not being able to change region in wireless settings

The router only operates on channel 6 when set to Auto 108Mbps mode.

The country setting is jammed on US because the router seems to ship everywhere with the US firmware so selecting any other country is fruitless. You can solve this problem by going to the Netgear website and downloading firmware for non-US countries. The non-US firmware also has a number of other bug-fixes too. Remember to connect the router directly to the computer using an ethernet cable when doing the update.
