Hi there, I am assuming that it was working ok until you tried to charge it then?? I have come across this problem before and you are right about the fuse, there is a fuse on the charge/power circuit that is located in the very top right hand corner of the motherboard, next to where the black power lead attaches to the motherboard - if you repair or bridge that fuse then it will work fine assuming that like I said at the begining it was working before you put the wrong charger in. If you cannot repair that fuse then the console will work fine if you can charge the battery without using that PSP (i.e. another psp or third party external charger) as there is no fuse on the battery circuit as there would not be a surge in power unlike the mains circuit. If you need more information or if this reply is not clear then let me know and I'll get an image of the fuse you need to repair.

Eclipse Mach Speed Trio T2810C Charger?

To charge the player, simply connect it to a powered USB port, or external AC adapter. If you choose to use a third party adapter, please ensure that it is 5V and between 350 and 1000 mA , or 1amp
amazon has Excelity AC-DC 5V 1A Wall Charger Power Adapter with Plug 5.5 x 2.5mm / 5.5 x 2.1mm $9.00
Personally i would use computer charging for USB ports.

Brand new tablet will not turn on

Make sure it is fully charged. Hold power button down for about 10 seconds and wait if nothing comes up press power again for half a second. Still nothing? Then put it on charge, it should show that it is charging with a light of a picture on the screen. If there is no sign of charging, wait about 3 hours leave the charger connected and press the power button again for about a second and wait for it to turn on or for the picture to show it is charging appears on the screen, (make sure the charger is on and connected) . Press the power button again for another 5 seconds and wait. sometimes it takes a little while to turn on, especially if the battery is very flat. Other things to try are check the charger on another device e.g. another table or a phone if you can and try another charger on the tablet if they are compatible, (usually the same plug is o.k, check the voltage is the same. most chargers are USB 5v). It may need a more powerful charger than most small phones,. you can try plugging the USB cable into a car charger or USB 3.0 port on a computer. 2 amps is common for most tablets. Apple may be different, hard to be exact without knowing brand etc.
If all else fails see the retailer

How to charge it

Hi Stacey
How to charge "what model" Cell Phone

iPhone & others usually charge from the USB cable that it comes with.
Plug into any USB port (5v DC)
Some chargers supply more current which can give a faster charge. iPad chargers supply 2A where as iPhone chargers are 1A

Micromax x225 is showing low signal

Ever looked at the power specifications of a mobile charger?? well if not, then have a peek... u will read that the output voltage is 5V DC........ the computer USB also has a voltage output of 5V DC........... any USB based electronic device needs this power to get started.... The laptop coolers u get basically work on this power from the USB... U'll notice that the USB ports have 4 terminals.... the extreme outer side are the POWER terminals +ve and -ve..... the middle 2 are the BUS lines IN and OUT.... a BUS is something electric conductive that allows the flow of 0's and 1's or rather high and low voltages to pass(Basic IT theory).... so this 5V DC can be used for doing anything; charging the mobile phone battery to lighting up entire rooms with LED's, making laptop coolers, etc......... Every mobile phone which has the USB connectivity option gets charged when plugged in... so sometimes even if u dont have the Mobile charger dont panic, find a computer and plug in the USB... not only micromax x225 mobile but, there are almost 80% mobiles which charge by connecting it to pc. Only nokia phones don't get charged. it is a good feature don't worry

My magellen 3100 battery will not charge

its probably not charging...very common problem with this and many others.

make sure green light is on the car charger and let it plugged in for awhile, then hold the power button (upto ten seconds) until it starts..if that fails

the following magellan 2000,2200t,2500,3000,3100,3140,4000,4040,4050 and the 6000 are known to have faulty dc connectors...if your magellan gps is not charging or will not power up, its most likely the dc power port...

you can get it repaired, here
or buy the port here

if you need further help, just let me know.

Where to get in car charger for evesham 7211

Hi.
I just bought an in-car charger for the 7211 on ebay.
It is 5v with a 2amp flow.
It's not for the mini-USB port on the side but for the dc input hole on the other side.
I've just plugged it into my laptop via the mini-USB port to see if it will charge that way but it doesn't seem to be doing.
Hope this helps.

PSP chager

Try a different outlet in the wall, it might be the outlet, if it isn't the outlet, maybe it's the power cord or the battery. If it's not that, then it's your PSP. You'll have to send it to sony for a new one if you want it replaced and if youve had it for over year you're going to have to pay $90. ------The fact that it turns off when the USB DC-in is connected and that it will not power up without the battery lead me to think that either the USB charging cable is just not supplying enough amps to run the psp standalone nor charge the battery very quickly, or something is odd in the PSP itself. I'm guessing when you plug something into the DC-in socket and it detects 5V then it switches to that as a source, if the USB cant supply the current it wants then it shuts down (just a guess).

Chargind psp

If it’s the 2000 series (PSP Slim), then yes. Connect your PSP system to an available USB port on your computer. Turn on your PSP, then under “Settings“, select “USB Connection”. Your PSP should connect to your computer and start charging. It may take awhile, but it will charge it all the way. Hold the display button (The button with the rectangular shape at the bottom of your PSP) until the screen goes black. This will speed up the charging process and is a good method of prolonging battery life when listening to music or other things.

If that doesn’t work, try looking for an adapter lying around your house that matches the volt numbers. The PSP takes 5V. Most portable CD players use 5V adapters and are usually the same size as needed for the PSP. I suggest using an adapter that matches the volt number and fits without trouble. If the orange light doesn’t come on or the PSP acts weird after charging, I’d stop using the adapter. Ask me any questions if you have any. ;)

Brand new psp battery will not charge

Did you charge it first? You need a good initial charge. Depending on the charger, it could be about 6 hours.

Also, remove the battery and check the metal contacts on the top and make sure that they are not covered by anything. Some come with a film to protect them.
