Question about Acer Aspire 5315-2153 Notebook
Check the settings in the BIOS to see if they are disabled. If the are not, use a portable keyboard to see if the number keys work. If they do, check the device manager to see what the keyboard is listed as. You can delete it from the list and have it redetected. IF that does not work, OEM says that you restore the computer to factory settings. If that fails then you replace the keyboard.

i am also pretty certain that you will need to use the remote control to input your code.
If this master reset does not work, the unit will need to be sent to kenwood with proof of purchase for them to reset it. ................... in saying that I am yet to hear of this procedure not working.
