Will Uniden 2085 DECT phone work in india

The phone will not work with 220 V. And as an FYI, taking the unit out of the country will void your warranty.

I have pre 900 mhz phone, 900 mhz, 2.4 ghz, 5.8 ghz and also DECT phone all by Panasonic. I got them in US and use them in India. The best range in Indian condition is with pre 900mhz phone followed by 900mhz. All other give me a range of 25-30 feet max. I have no intereferncing device in my home. Only brick and mortar house. Penetration and relection of the newer phone in Indian condition is very poor. My suggestion, dont buy these if you have anything more than 2 bed room flat. Trust me I ma going thru this problem. I have gone back to my pre 900 Mhz old phone with long antenna and it works in 500 feet range but with little poor quality. MVK NY/Pune
