a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

on the bottom under the dvd tray is a hole. inside the hole is a white plastic gear that opens the dvd tray. it is stamped with a phillips screwdriver depression. insert a phillips screwdriver and rotate to open tray/

SOURCE: DVD displys "loading" constantly
I have the same unit with the same problem. Its been to JVC 2 times for power supply repair(the power supply overheats). I am now having this again and will send it a third time. I was told by JVC they will replace the unit after 3 repairs. We'll see??

To unlock the region limitation of your machine:
(all the following is done on the remote)
Go to the Easy Setup Menu
Go to <Setup>
"Hover" the cursor block over the Lock symbol (don't enter yet)
Enter 0000 on the remote
A Congratulations message comes up.

SOURCE: Radio and CD System in LOC mode.
there is a 4 digit security code that is entered by using the hr. and min. buttons. I think the code has to be gotten from GM with the vec. I.D. number.

daddysgirl, You do not indicate the model number or the age of the stove. Early model self clean stoves used a 'oven lock door handle.' Later model stoves do not use such a handle but is electronic. I believe this is the one that you own. You also don't indicate it the door is indeed "LOCKED" or does the console just says that it is locked. If you press START... does the oven actually come on and heat to desired temperature? If not... I believe that you have a touchpad control problem. You can unplug your stove from the wall or turn off the stove's 220VAC 50 amp circuit breaker located in your main electrical panel. If possible leave off over nite and then reapply power the next morning. If you still have the same oven contol problems, then you will have to replace your oven Electronic Control Module (ECM). It sounds like the "touchpad" portion is defected but unfortunately it usually comes as a part of the ECM. The oven ECM is very expensive ($150-275. retail) plus labor to install. Hopes this helps you! HandyHenry
