SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: RIBBON CHANGE

Make sure the ribbon is facing the correct side. Usually, there is a small encave which is to be facing downwards. Snap it in place and you are good to go.

SOURCE: I need an instruction book for a Silver-Reed EX42

In order to set the margins do this:

1. Using the backspace key, position the carrier on the exact point where the LEFT margin is to be.
If the LEFT margin is set before that point, just presss the MR (margin release) key once and continue backspacing.
2. Now press the Margin Left key once. (You may hear a short beep.)

3. Next, using the SPACEBAR, move the carrier to the right and position it where you want the RIGHT MARGIN, and press the Margin Right once. (You may hear a short beep.)
If the RIGHT margin is set before that point, just presss the MR (margin release) key once and continue with the SPACEBAR.

Now you can check by using the RETURN key to get to the left, and the TAB or SPACEBAR to get to the right.

Getting a User Manual may prove to be a challenge.

In need of a brother GX-6750 typewriter owners manuel please help

First press the Code key and Q simultaneously. That will reset the wheel position. If it clicks or otherwise fails to type properly, pull out the wheel and inspect it. One or more of the types may be bent. In that case, the wheel needs to be replaced. Good luck finding the part.
