Question about Coby Televison & Video
The TV has a horizontal yellow line in the middle, but you can see the image. Down the yellow line you can still see the image, but in light blue and red colors. How can I fix that?

I unplugged the TV and now the picture is back.I read that the LCD's are vunerable to static build up so unless my daughter is using her TV I unplug it.
I was thinking about getting a large LCD for the family room but I'm not going to until they improve on this technology.

SOURCE: Lines on tv screen
Both sound like bad LCD panels. The following must be answered to confirm this:
Do the lines appear on all inputs/all signal sources?
Can they be seen in the OSD/menu?
If yes to both questions, it is likely that the LCD panel is bad

This should be repairable. It may be the LVDS Cable or the Main board problem. The only other problem is the T-Con Board.
