Where can I get brushes for earthwise 6.5 pole chain saw

Any of the following could order them, or at least point you in the right direction to find them. Where to source them, I mean. Local chain saw repair place, small engine repair shop, electric motor repair shops, anybody who fixes electric motors or knows what you are talking about.?. This company must have a website, have you tried that?

I'm not one, but a typical Montanan ( state votes about 80% republican) would rather snidely comment, "Get that fishing pole out of here!" As a lone-wolf green, Progressive, sometime-democrat, I salute a company who recognizes "something" above profits. Nice name, earthwise. You may really have to contact the company and have them send you them brushes. I hope I have helped your day in some way. If not, I am chastened, and beg your forgiveness. As my dad, Earl, often said, "Do the right thing." That's how he lived his life, a true-blue Roosevelt Democrat, he loved to talk politics and slur republicans, from Eisenhower on to all the rest of them, but he personally liked Ike, voted for him. Saved his vitriol for Nixon and especially Reagan. He knew economics, and he knew reagonomics was a disaster for the USA. That is when the wealth inequality sky rocketed. Good bye, and god bless.

How can you buy just the saw for the 8" 2 in 1 pole saw.

after looking at reviews written on

Tried chain saw. Working on limbs about 12 ft above ground.
First limb about 3 inches diameter, Oak. Worked fine.
Second limb same size. Cutter slip off branch could not stop the saw from hitting ground. Broke case where it attaches to pole.
No parts, and no way to repair it as company had no idea what kind of cement/glue I could use. So one branch cost me $120.00.

Like Robert my saw hit the ground and busted in the same spot (this will happen to you sooner or later) and you can not get repair parts, its now a door stop.
Pros: Easy To Use, Light Weight
Cons: Can Not Get Repair Parts
I am guessing you mean the entire cutting end of the saw too, I would get a new one either same model so you have a spare pole or find a another brand that definatly sells spare parts.
Ive never used a electric polesaw but have done alot of work with with longer petrol and shorter hydrolic polesaws, even top of the range they can be broken easily always keep the chain sharp, cut one branch at a time or small clumps on a hedge.
Commonly they get dropped cause they get really heavy extended a shoulder belt helps alot as do coffee breaks.
Or they get jammed in the branch being cut which can be really dangerous with a half cut branch, be ready to run.
Also never use from a ladder

The pole was boxed in 2 pieces which insert together and snaps in place, except i snapped it in backward, now the control end is upside down. how do i unsnap the pieces?

There should be a retainer clip or ball (like a ball bearing) somewhere along the pole that holds them together. Might be hard to locate but should be somewhere within three inches of the end. If you can't find it, go back to the store and look at a new one that is still apart and see what holds them together.

How much oil to add?

fill bar oil allow for small amount of expansion from heat of bar and chain, but to get hot the chain must spin, and when the chain spins oil is used, just dont let it run out.

Chain stops when it touchs log

A gas engined saw has a clutch that can slip if overly oiled internally, but electric saws don't use a clutch. Most however, have a safety disconnect to the drive sprocket that shears or otherwise removes power to the chain while the motor runs. The worst problem can be a broken gear within the gearbox and requires dis-assembly to discover. Many modern saws use plastic gears in place of metal ones and are prone to failure. The fact that the chain turns when not under load would seem to eliminate the gearbox, but don't discount that until proven. Hope this helps!

Mower started smoking, then stopped working.

Try to see if there is any oil in it. Or maybe your belt is clogged. A good cleaning and maybe a change of plug may help.

I have the model 108526-01 Remington pole saw which has the round pole with a plastic compression nut (which recently broke). Can I buy the newer octagonal pole and if so, does it use the same saw mounting...

I have the sollution, had the same problem with the broken compression nut. Just use two hose clamps, one to hold the pole extended and the other clamps around compression base. Its a cheap easy fix and it work great fo me. The Real Mr.Fixit
